COVID has us exercising in our basement instead of the gym, so I decided to buy an inexpensive "good enough" TV to park in front of the exercise equipment. I picked this one because of price and reviews. This is a great TV! Easy setup, great picture and sound quality, receives a ton of antenna TV channels despite being in a concrete hole. Highly recommended.

After owning a Roku TV for maybe 3 years and finding out that "Smart TVs" aren't so smart after a few years, I decided that when we upgraded another TV in the house it wouldn't be smart if I could help it. Granted you can always plug a newer streaming box via HDMI, but that built in smart TV system that's out of date is still there, taunting you almost. This is pretty much the end of the line for dumb TV's, and it's great. Picture quality is wonderful, sound is good (better in both regards compared to the smart TV we own), and it does all we need it to do. Plug in a Fire Stick and either remote (fire stick or TV remote) can control the other. Simple. When that Fire stick stops being smart enough, swap it out for another. No big deal.

I selected this HDTV for someone needing to watch local over the air HDTV broadcasts. This TV does NOT have smart Internet connections built-in. Optionally it can be used with smart streaming devices like Roku or Amazon Firestick on HDMI ports. The price was good, and the picture excellent. It has been operating over a year with only one tuner glitch reported to me since installation.

Functional without a lot of do-dada’s which is just what I wanted. Good picture quality and easy to use for a person who has memory problems. Just had problems locating it in the store as the staff were not well informed about the specific product advertised on their website. Managed to find it by accident whether by direction of staff.

I was looking for a new tv in my bedroom. I still had an old school box tv and it was slowly getting that greenish bluish tint to the picture. This TV was on sales for $149.99. It is a very basic tv with no smart qualities which is perfectly fine by me. The picture and sound quality is wonderful for the price I paid. I couldn’t have gotten a better deal. I love this tv.

It has a beautiful picture even using my Mohu amplied antenna. I didn't like it talking to me, so I went into settings and fixed that.. Very easy to use. Even a child can use it, what am I saying, they know how to use a cell phone and I don't. So lets just say easy to use ! I love it

Great Picture - Lightweight - Easy to Use - Economical

The feet were a little hard to get on the bottom of the TV, and the directions weren't much help, but we eventually figured it out! I'm glad I bought the TV. It's a great size and quality. Everyone in the house enjoys using it for movie nights.

I'm coming from a 32" 1080p Vizio that was just 3 years old. That tv had great picture quality & sound, so this Insignia had a lot to live up to. Right out the box, I found the picture to be way too bright. The color was overly saturated and cartoonish. It didn't look natural at all. After tinkering with the pic settings, the image is Fantastic. Here are my settings to get a darker, richer color. Backlight 25, Brightness 48, Contrast 50, Color 48, Sharpness 10, Aspect ratio Normal, Overscan off, Dynamic backlight off, Color temp Normal, Noise reduction off & Dynamic Contrast On! These settings makes this tv look better than my big Plasma in the family room. Try these settings and comment how you liked them. :)

Excellent product the image quality Is very good and the sound too

I came in to get a smaller TV but when I saw this 43 inch for under $200.00 I decided to buy it. So far so good. It's a really good TV. I just hope it lasts at least 5 years. That's my only complaint about TV's these days. they don't last long enough.

Great looking TV, picture is crystal clear, sound is crystal clear, synchronization between picture and sound is perfect---light weight and easy to install to wall mount...only problem is the Setup is a PIA...but once you figure out how it "likes" to be turned on depending on your TV setup...it's a very good price for a very good product

I have not been disappointed with my purchase as the picture quality and sound is perfect. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of some of the higher priced televisions, but the set up is easy and we have had no issues with the function. For the money, this was a great deal.

Very happy with picture. Easy setup. Ideal for those not wanting a smart TV. Purchased as a gift for my mother. She does not want anything complicated. This was perfect for her. My worst problem was trying to attach the legs. ;)
