I’ve owned LG’s, Samsung, Sony and this TV is right up there with all. Outstanding picture with easy to navigate menu at a great value. The sound is decent but a sound bar greatly improves any Flatscreen if not running through an AV receiver. 5 stars on the product and great service at Best Buy!

This tv was not as smart as I would have liked. It didn't have a menu or apps. I had to choose the HDMI input in order to get the function to work. It was a great price for a spare tv, though, so I am not unhappy with it. The picture quality seems good and the settings are pretty easy to understand.

Straightforward non-smart TV. Purchased for my Grandmother. She lives in a senior citizen complex where she still has a Comcast cable box. This is perfect for her because having a smart TV that needs Wi-Fi and has more of an app approach would be too confusing for her. This TV fits the bill perfectly. Great sound for flat screen. Honestly, I think TVs today come with subpar speakers to encourage us to buy sound bars to match. Just my two cents...hahaha. But Insignia is a great brand, so I'm not too surprised. Dependable, quality device with great HD picture for the viewer who doesn't need the "bells and whistles".

I selected this HDTV for someone needing to watch local over the air HDTV broadcasts. This TV does NOT have smart Internet connections built-in. Optionally it can be used with smart streaming devices like Roku or Amazon Firestick on HDMI ports. The price was good, and the picture excellent. It has been operating over a year with only one tuner glitch reported to me since installation.

Granted, it's not the most feature laden TV on the market, It's not a smart TV. It's not 4K, blah, blah, blah. What it is, is a decent set, good enough to go in the spare room, the kid's room, the garage, etc. It's a 43" TV at a bargain price. What's not to like? Put a fire stick or a roku on it and it's smart enough!

This product was purchased for a family member entering an assisted care facility. We were looking for a least a 42" screen that had good value and easy for an older individual to operate. The Insignia 43" LED HD TV appeared to be the best unit that met the requirement we were looking for.

Good picture at 1080p from a combo of Amazon Recast and Firestick. It isn't a smart TV, but with the Amazon Firestick, it basically is now. It was at a good price because 1080p is going away, in favor of 4K TVs; I saved $85.00 over the lowest price 4k TV, if you figure in the cost of the Firestick.

Solid TV for the price. Nice and thin, great picture, way lighter than the TV it replaced. Only gripe is that the Ports on the back are a bit shifted from center of the cut outs. Makes plugging in a HDMI device a little annoying but not a huge deal. I don’t remove connections very often anyway.

I've only had this basic flat screen TV for a few weeks and so far so good. We use it as a bedroom TV. It was very easy to set up. Picture is very clear and sound is perfect. No complaints so far. If you need a simple TV with no extra's, this is the one for you.

Excellent tv, we needed a larger tv for our bedroom, because I can't see lol, we had a 33 inch. Needless to say, this one is perfect! I thought of going with a 50 inch or larger but I'm so glad we didn't. It's actually a really nice t.v. we love it, will be buying more --I am sure of it.

We got this TV for our bedroom. We didn't need anything too fancy, nor did we need smart functionality (since we had a Chromecast already). For the price, this is a great value. Good picture quality and the unit is light enough for our old arm mount. Met our expectations--might have exceeded them, actually!

Picture quality is good and speaker is fine as well. All the IO options are standard affair so I cannot complain. No dead pixels and it is plenty bright for an indoor use. It was easy to set up. I am using this with a chromecast and I have nothing to complain about. I paid 120 for this TV.

The TV has a nice picture it was the exact size I needed to fit inside a cabinet. I was looking for the largest Smart TV that I could find that would fit inside a free standing cabinet in our bedroom. My personal issues with the TV are: Remote does not feel natural in my hand like many other remotes I have had. When picking it up in the dark you don’t know if it is upside down or not by feel. You have to feel for the ring selector to know if it is in the right direction. Another issue I have is that after I turn off the TV sometimes a couple of minutes later the TV comes back on but only the Insignia logo is on the screen and than shuts off. My wife and I laugh and say that the TV is spying on us. And finally I’m not to fond with the remotes controls ability to surf through the Netflix and Hulu menu’s and show searching. My LG has a mouse built into the remote which makes navigating the menus and channels much easier IMO. But all in all the price was right for what I got.

We bought this for my mom who isn’t very technologically savvy. We set it up together and she’s been using it with ease. The picture is great and the features and remote are user-friendly. We were looking for an HD, non-smart TV and this is perfect! Excellent value!
