Good cheap tv for your own connected devices

Sometimes waiting for a smart platform on a tv or updates is aggravating but this tv fires right up due to the lack of smarts. I have a ROKU stick and a gaming setup to connect so this thing works great. Picture is plenty fine after tuning it and the kids don’t care about HDR or 120hz.

Just what the bedroom ordered

Don't often use it but on days we adults are looking for two separate venues of entertainment, it is nice to have a picture where one can actually read the football score. This 43-inch Insignia filled the gap. it also adapted easily to a fire stick and is another screen no longer attacked to cable or a satellite. For the money? Worth every penny. Clear picture - great sound and up to modern standards.

Excellent Non-Smart TV

I prefer non-smart TVs since I can upgrade streaming players (Chromecast, Fire Stick, Roku, etc.) whenever I want. With smart TVs, you can't really do that.

We were replacing high-end Samsung TV that worked for 4 years. Let's start with the sound. This Insignia blows any TV away. No need for the sound bar!.. and the picture is superb! So very happy that we made this choice! Love this TV! Everything about it is high quality. We hooked it up to Roku box that we already had for the old TV and it works like a dream, only with better picture and better sound than Samsung! And all that for under $200!!!!!

You're smarter than your TV

I tried 6 different 4K 43 inch screens and none met their own hype in a mid-sized TV...bluetooth blips, functions not available on the model, HDR making film makers art look weird,..etc. In this TV there are plenty of HDMI ports for your cable box, blue ray player, Roku and VCR. Enjoy the simple pleasure of enjoying the rich content available without the opinionated "smarts" from the TV manufacturers
