Great Price and Using as a Monitor!

My regular monitor was a 27” but the height and distance from my face was causing me to squint. I don’t need to squint anymore. Plus I can connect to the internet and stream YouTube and more with better definition.

It was very inexpensive and the picture and size are nice and clear and the sound is good and not distorted nor muffled. Our Roku hooks up to it flawlessly and everything else about this tv works easily and with no issues.

For My Needs, a Good TV

Frankly, I wanted a 43-inch TV to replace one that was mounted in the garage. I didn't need a smart TV. I didn't need a more advanced TV. This new Insignia TV has a good-to-excellent picture and good audio. Since it was a "new" open box item, it was a smart purchase.

The TV is bright enough during the daytime to produce a clear picture. I use it primarily to watch important news events. The picture is sharp and the TV is a good bargain in its class.

This screen size is great for gaming. The picture quality is sharp and colors vibrant. Not mounted, for moving game play at will. Stable stands for table top placement. Our original 55" Insignia is 12 years old and the display is as brilliant as day 1.

I was having trouble with the picture being too zoomed in and eventually figured out I needed to go to Menu -> Picture -> Advanced Settinngs -> OverScan and set it to "Off". The legs were very difficult to get on and it's very wobbly (the TV actually tilts forwards a bit) but I don't think it would ever fall over unless bumped significantly.

No Frills, Great Picture

There aren't a lot of extras, but I knew that going into it. I've had good luck with Insignia in the past and this is staying in line with that. Got it on a Black Friday sale for a very good price and I'm happy with it. There is a little shadowing when streaming busy action scenes, but otherwise the picture is clear and crisp.
