needed a new tv as our old one broke but didn't want to pay an arm and a leg and didn't really need a smart TV. This one has been great. Nice picture, pleased with the sound quality as well. Haven't been able to get the cable box to work, but other than that I think it is a good TV for the price.

Loving it so far. Back in the day I would be wary of buying off brand but being that it is for our bedroom, it is more than capable. And love that it isn't a smart TV. Easier to upgrade a streaming device than a whole TV. Color and picture is great.

I got this television to replace an older model and got a good price on it. It has a beautiful picture, that many people have commented on. Just know that this model is not smart ready, but with my fire stick, I can do everything I need

The insignia tv is a great tv and a real value - highly recommended- only one issue when Geek squad was finished install, I asked them to move the xfinity DTA to be line of sight to the remote- they said you need new batteries- didn’t work once we moved it to the top of the TV everything works great- word to the wise

Really happy with the tv, simple installation and great picture. Not a smart tv which is what I wanted as I have a ps4 so that’s unnecessary. Cheap cost, decent product can’t complain at all. Wasn’t sure about the brand as I had never heard of insignia but the tv does not disappoint.

I bought this tv to replace an old console that just won't quit. I bought the LG brand thinking it would be better in quality that the Vizio (BB) brand, but I'm not sure that's true. To me the old console still has a sharper picture, so that's a disappointment. A family member picked the Vizio, which I have found to have a nicer picture quality. Was too tired to haul this back to the store, so I'll just make the best of it. It's not a terrible tv, just not worth a lot of hype in my opinion. I haven't used the smart features yet. Just wanted the option of using them for now. TV very light, which is a big improvement on the console. I say no to recommending because of the price for what I think I got in return. If they knock off $75, then snatch it up! It took a long time to use the remote to enter my wi-fi password for this thing. They've got to come up with a better way of doing this.

My sisters and I bought this for Mom and she loves it! It has a beautiful picture and it’s slightly bigger than her old TV, but not too big for her small room! Definitely makes her feel like a Queen!

Very good TV. Great picture, sound is okay, but definitely best with a sound bar. My only issue is I needed a bigger screen, otherwise I would have kept it.

Excellent 1080p picture quality and easy set-up menu. Speakers are great as well. Only minor complaint is it can be difficult to access HDMI ports with some VESA mounts due to port placement near the mounting points

Had this almost a year now (bought in August of 2019 and this review is June 2020). Picture quality is excellent, especially as a spare bedroom TV. Sound is surprisingly good as well. Got an Xbox 360, Roku and PS3 connected. All look great through the TV via HDMI. For the cost, this is a great TV!

I am very pleased with this TV, the quality and clarity. This is my second Insignia. I also have an LD abs Samsung. The Insignias are my favorite. My 55” is over 9 years old and going strong and the new tv is 43” much better in my bedroom than the other smaller TV I had there.

This is a great TV that i was able to get at a great price due to the great holiday sales at Best Buy. This is a lower end TV, however it is extremelt cheap, price wise, so i highly recommend it!

It’s thin so it fits in my room nicely but the screen is big enough for 4-player Mario Kart! The picture is so clear, on my last TV I could barely make out characters’ faces but this could not be more opposite! Well worth the money. I wish it had two of the RYB connectors, but the 3 HDMI inputs is amazing.

The TV works as expected. The shopping experience was less so. The store had no details on the features of the extended maintenance policy that I purchased. It quite a bit of digging on the Internet to find it. That should not be necessary.

Exchanged this tv from a smart tv. It's a much easier tv to operate and to set up. Glad I was able to get a non-smart tv. Not everyone is comfortable with a smart tv so there has to be other options for those not wanting a smart tv.
