Wife loved it! Makes great Ice she can munch on all day. The whole family uses it! It does get kinda loud making it when it's low but besides that its pretty awesome!

Great ice maker. It is a little noisy, but not any worse than the Frigidaire we had (that was horrible and leaked all over). This one does not leak.

This is a great ice maker. It is super fast and makes great ice. It is a lot cheaper than it’s competitors and is a lot quieter too.

Broke after 13 months. Started making loud squealing and knocking sounds. Cleaned regularly and used filtered/ soft water. Based on the questions and reviews of others, this is commonplace. I should have bought the GSP (extended warranty). Oh well. It was nice while it lasted but i could but A LOT of ice for $300 a year. About 2 ten pound bags a week from sonic... Bought an Opal 2.0 to replace it with the gsp this time...

Best purchase I ever made. We are big on ice all year round in my household, and this machine is perfect, small nuggets but a very good amount of ice is made, and it takes very little to produce a full drawer full of ice. I had an issue with the fan when I first bought it but as soon as I reached out to Best Buy they immediately sent me a new one when I brought them the machine.

This ice maker is the BEST for the price. We have been wanting one that makes the "Sonic/Zaxby" ice but didnt wasnt to pay the $600plus price tag and decided to give this one a try and SOOOOO glad we did ! This makes the best, most perfect pellect ice there is !!! And its so easy to use and makes ice FAST! We have been making it and storing it for future gatherings .. NO MORE running out of ice and no more running to our local Fast Food Restuarant for ICE

Love the ice. The machine makes loud noises. It's heavy and hard to turn to clean, it recommended to clean every 3 days. You better otherwise you get nasty fish taste.

Good reliable ice maker, but it does get noisy. After a few months it started groaning and squealing like a sad monster. However, it does produce good ice quickly.

One of the best purchases ive ever made, it makes the best ice. Easy to clean.

Insignia Ice Machine is great and does as advertised. A tad noisy from time to time but it make ice quickly and no complaints.

Broke less the 3 mo. It was cleaned weekly (vinegar), but it broke mechanically at the top end. It was still under warranty, but out of stock with no ETA so I got the store credit and applied it to the GE opal. I'm writing this review almost a year later & the GE is still working like new.

The ice is perfect! A little harder than “Sonic” ice but softens up once in your drink. It’s also so easy to clean!

This is the only ice maker that makes the ice the way i like it, so i keep reordering them and getting a new one. I've had 3 now and bought one for each of my 2 kids. All of them whine and make this horrible noise after a short time. Please fix this!!! I love the ice it makes

Love it!! Makes the good ice!! Does not hold a ton of water and you have to remove the drawer to pour in the ice.

I got this rather than the GE model that started me down the nugget ice path, because, well, money. That said, this little unit has performed well since it arrived, it was easy to set up and where it does make some noise (but all ice makers do) it's not detrimental nor is it something I notice unless I am near it. I think it's a great unit and the only thing I'd want is an add-on water reservoir.

Awesome product, it does get alittle loud from time to time but worth it for the crunch ice
