Needed an extra plug to take with me on the go in case of an emergency and came across this little gem. It's super compact and comes with a really nice six foot braided charging cord. Most charging blocks take or cover two slots because of either length or width but this does neither, whether you're using a standard stacked wall plug or a multi-plug outlet with multiple outlets side by side. Another nicely designed aesthetic is the ends where the cord meets the plug ends. They have it supported with sturdy but flexible bright yellow rubbery surround so that the cord doesn't fray from constantly bending from use, whether it be by using the phone while it's plugged in or just the constant repetition of plugging and unplugging over time. It comes with a one year warranty and total wattage is 45 watts. It's USB c to USB C. It works great with any USB C type charge port electronic. I used it with my Samsung S9 and also my Samsung tablet and both were charged in excellent times so I was very pleased. I'd definitely recommend this to others

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and my partner has a Galaxy S22+ that I have been charging with Qualcomm 3.0 quick chargers. Charge time on the phone isn’t too bad, but the tablet can take some considerable time. With that being said I figured the Insignia 45W Super Fast Charger would be a good fit for my uses. I have tested it over the last week, and I have found it to be reliable and a solid improvement over my 3.0 chargers. The charger includes a really nice 6ft USB-C to USB-C braided cable that feels like a quality cord, and is rated up to 100W. The charger itself has a foldaway plug, which makes it easier to bring along for travel. The charger brick is much smaller than I would have expected out of a 45W charger. It doesn’t invade the other outlet space on the wall or in my power strips. I checked the heat output from the charger after it had been running at full power for a bit. Highest temp I registered was 109 °F. My old charger registered around 93 °F, which is a modest increase. This is not surprising especially when you consider how much more power the charger is delivering (45W vs 15W). Overall, the design is nice, and doesn’t seem to have any drawbacks which is good to see. The charger is rated to output a max of 45W and can be used to charge a wide range of devices. It can supply 5V@3A, 9V@3A, 15V@3A, and [email protected]. The charger is listed as a PPS, or programmable power supply. This is an advanced charging standard that is implemented over USB-C, and is able to reduce power conversion inefficiencies lost in the form of excess heat. It is backwards compatible as a fast charger for older devices (like Qualcomm 3.0 Fast Charge devices). Its main purpose is as a Super Fast 2.0 charger for newer devices and tablets that support 45W charging. I have 2 Samsung devices in my house that support 45W charging. My tablet has an 11200 mAh battery and my partners S22+ has a 4500 mAh battery. The charging time on my tablet was drastically reduced, while the phone saw a moderate reduction in charge time vs. an older Qualcomm 3.0 fast charger. At 41% battery the tablet would have taken 1 hour 49min to reach a full charge on the old charger. On the 45W charger that time was cut 57min while utilizing Super Fast Charging 2.0. That is nearly 48% faster than the old charger, and would save well over an hour of charging if the tablet battery had be fully depleted. For the S22+ the advantage was more modest. With the battery at 49% the time to charge to full was 41min vs 50min – an 18% reduction. Again, the time savings increases the more you need to charge up your device. Overall, this is a nicely made charger. The cable it comes with has a very nice build quality and is rated well above what this charger can supply. I think its usefulness, for me, really shines as a charger for my tablet. My old charger took almost 4 hours to go from dead to full, and now the time is almost cut in half. That’s a tremendous upgrade for anyone with one of the newer Samsung tablets (or other large battery devices) that support Super Fast 2.0 charging.

Picture this. You bring your Steam Deck with you on a trip. You have a great time and return home after a couple days, only to find out you have lost the charger the Steam Deck came with! This wouldn't be much a problem until you realize the deck requires a 45w charger, and you have no charger that high of a wattage. Disappointed, you drive up to best buy expecting to spend an arm and a leg for a charger that wattage. The deck's OEM charger was pretty big to begin with, how huge will this thing be? You look through all the chargers and you find this bundle box of not only a 45w charger, but a 6 foot USB-C Cable! You decide to try it and hope it charges your device. Thankfully it does, without any major problems, all while being more portable! You and your deck no longer live crappily ever after! Goofy story out the way, this is legit a pretty compact charger, compared to the one given to you from Valve. Only complaint I have is the cable is finicky with my Pixel 7 Pro, but I already have a separate charger for such things. Really happy with this product overall. I'd honestly consider this a safe and sound purchase, especially with how many devices use USB-C nowadays! Good manufacturer choice, Best Buy!

This is a very capable charger for its size, supporting fixed 5, 9, 15, 20, and variable voltage modes (PPS). It specifically supports the PPS modes required for Samsung phones to charge at Super Fast Charge 2.0 (45W) speeds! It is one of the few chargers certified by the USB-IF so you know it will work great with your USB devices. It even comes bundled with a certified cable as well!

This is going to be a super easy review to write! I can't think of a single bad thing to say about this Insignia 45W USB-C charger. I know a lot of people poo-poo store brand cables and other small electronics, but Best Buy has REALLY stepped up their game with their home brand gear. The 'brick' itself is a solid piece of electronics with no give anywhere, a nice textured coating (unlike some of the smooth plastic-y kinds that I hate), and it stays remarkably cool under load. What takes this kit to the next level is the cable that comes with the brick. It is probably one of, if not THE, best USB-C cable I have and I have purchased some REALLY NICE cables recently. It is pliable yet strong, the fabric sheath is a tight weave without any crimping, and the plug ends themselves are solid. It is also a really useful length, especially if you want to plug your device in and still be using it a little ways away from the plug. I also appreciate the fact that they print on the plug casing that it is a cable that is rated for 100W. I don't know if this is a new thing being required of cable makers considering all the different specs of USB-C plugs and cables, but no matter what, it helps me keep track of my heavy duty cables. This is great because I have a drawer full of USB-C cables already and for most, I have no clue what they are rated up to. Finally, this 45W brick (I shouldn't really call it a brick, but it is so ingrained in my brain that I can't help it), is perfect for all of your gadgets nowadays. I use it to charge my Apple MacBook Air, my Nintendo Switch OLED, and my iPad. As soon as Apple puts a USB-C port in it's phones, this will be the only charger I will need to for travel. Seriously, the Insignia 45W USB-C compact charger kit shouldn't just be ON the list when comparing to first party chargers, it should be AT THE TOP of the list. And not just for Samsung devices, this thing charges all of my gadgets with the exception of my phone and my watch and that is the fault of Apple, not Insignia.

Your able to charge your device exteemly quick with this product. Very impressed with the quality of this product both the wall block and the cable the 5A cable is rated at 100 watts and the block at 45watts definatkey would reccoment this to anyone looking for a great charger for their USBC charge port devices.

Good charging brick. I bought it to charge my Galaxy Tab S9, and it works perfectly. Doesn't get hot, at least to me. Has held up over a year just fine. Indeed, super fast charging works, and my tablet can go from 0% to 100% in about an hour and thirty minutes. It is, however, a bit large, and at least on my surge protector, you can't plug in anything near it if it is of decent size.

This is an excellent charger for all of your USB-C devices. The plug is compact and foldable so it's easy to travel with. It also supports fast charging of iPhones and Android devices, and it charges all USB-C iPads at the fastest rate possible. The included USB-C cable is a perfect length and very durable -- the cable is braided and uses sturdy connectors at both ends. Highly recommended!

This charger is quick...best charger ive gone through quite a few( due to me not the charger i continue to replace because i bought another fast charger and a little less than 20 minutes later it was only at 24%... seemed like a lifetime..got in my car drove to best buy and purchased this same charger again..my phone STILL wasnt charged when i got back. Plugged it into this charger and it was done on less than 10 minutes(went from 56% to 100%) highly recommend ill never buy another charger.

Can really charge up your phone fast when you need I’m the kind of guy that low key likes to charge the phone only when it’s at 1% that I can tell you that if you charge at 1% in 5 minutes it’ll be at 12% I have the iPhone 16 where the 12% is still good enough charge especially in 5 minutes if this would come back in stock I would definitely definitely buy another again especially for the brand bein insignia this product is fire! 100+%

You cannot sleep on the value of Insignia/Best Buy brand cables and plugs. I have several standalone cables I've been using for 2-3 years that hold up well and was looking to get a new wall charger just to take for traveling. This one goes the Samsung Super Fast Charging 45w speeds for cheaper than anyone else, with a braided 6' cable included. There is no other bundle of this quality at this price. It's an absolute steal.

Great super fast charging with a durable wire that i have rolled my office chair ocer it multiple times and still works great. Do not charge a vape with it, the wattage is too strong lol
