The oven not so much. There isn't even a cook timer on it! just a clock. On new ovens you have to "bake out" ( 400 + degrees for an hour) then air out, and clean before use to get rid of chemical residue. I have repeated these steps multiple times and the chemical smell is still very strong. Each time I had to open all windows, and the scent lingered for hours. I won't use the oven to bake or broil anything, I don't want to contaminate the food.
