I love this thing. There's enough room for two pony kegs - but I only have one tap. So, I have the pony keg in and add a couple bottles of beer to keep chilled. Temps can get pretty low, so I have a thermometer in it to keep track of the temp (35-38 range :dial set at 4.5 - top view). Be careful to not set the temp too low and don't have the lines next to the cooling condenser - your discharge line can freeze up. Co2 canister comes empty. You will have to go to a local gas suppy company to get an exchange. Cost me $22 at Praxair. You may get it filled at a paint gun shop - or similar business. I have the co2 inside the fridge. There's plenty of room for it and the keg. I also have an additional co2 canister attached to the included bracket outside the fridge for a back-up. Over the past month and 2 pony kegs, I still have to use up one canister of co2 - set at 10psi. There's no guage on the included regulator to check the co2 amount in the canister. I bought a seperate one that has the output pressure and the canister pressure - which I recommend if you want to keep tract of how much co2 you have. I keep the pressure at the recommended 10psi. But, I can tell when the keg is running low - I get a lot of foam. Otherwise, I get a perfect pint every time. It's quiet, dependable and easy to clean. Totally recommended if you enjoy draft beer. You may like the bottles or cans - and they serve their purpose - but there's nothing better than draft !

Great item. I have a local that will fill the gas for $15. The tank will last about 5 1/2 barrel kegs. First one Sierra Nevada pale ale. It took me a minute to figure out the pressure regulator but in no time was pouring pints with 1" creamy heads on them. Temp at 5 one below the highest coldest setting is keeping things at 35 degrees. I would strongly suggest a thermometer I got one on eBay for $5. Keg went dry yesterday after one month of continuous use. Next up Laganitus sumpin' sumpin' after I clean the beer lines out. Don't let that sway you it is very easy to set up and clean. My beer price is lower now with the draught system and I always have cold beer in quantity no more running out. It looks really cool behind the bar and has room still for bottled water or soda mixers ext. I also have been buying the beer handles to go with the beers I purchase. I usually get them on eBay for about $10-$15. Makes all the difference. Although I needed a special spacer for the Sierra as that handle was reversed. All others should match just fine. Lot of fun I get a lot of compliments on my bar now and really ties the room together. A must buy in my opinion.

Have been using with commercial 1/6 bbl kegs (on third keg). Plan on using for home-brew once it's ready. The included instructions for how to connect the sanke tap are not very clear. I had leak on top, I tightened nut to much and ripped the silicon washer. I looked up instructions for other Kegerators and saw the trick was to verify the tap, washer and tailpiece are flat, before tightening, without over tightening (just over hand tight). After that no leaks. It keeps beer in high 30s F at top of keg low 30s at bottom when set to lowest setting. Need to keep co2 pressure low (approx 5 PSI) to reduce head. 1st pour after > 20 minutes is a bit to foamy, but second or third poor in a row is good after that. Price is cheapest kegerator I could find. I chose it over making a keezer and plan on using it with external temp controller to lager my next batch (it will hold my 6 1/2 gallon carboy and air-lock). I also wanted to be able to support 1/2 bbl keg, without lifting the keg in and out. Overall after a month I'm happy with it.

Awesome deal! Same thing costs 800+ anywhere else. This is like getting the non name brand cereal that tastes exactly the same and even kind of rips off the cartoon character but is only like a dollar for like 5 lbs of cereal. I digress! This thing was easy to put together, ice cold, and very spacious. I have no issues putting a 1/2 keg (standard consumer keg size) into this. When I don't have a keg, it makes a huge mini fridge. Honestly, it is worth it as a mini fridge alone with how crazy big it is.

    Large Kegerator Capacity, Needs Mods

I had a commercial kegerator for my home brewing hobby that broke down. Since it cost about $1,000 to repair, I decided to purchase an inexpensive replacement and this unit from Best Buy seemed to meet my needs. It can fit 3 home brew kegs (5 gallon cornelius style). It has room for all the hoses, and I can run my gas line to the outside of the kegerator. The kegerator is quiet and has been keeping my beer chilled below 40 degrees at less than the coldest setting. It comes with a very nice 5 lb CO2 tank that needs to be filled, of course. The tower mounting holes are compatible with an upgraded 3 faucet setup I installed. Very nice! The railing is really good as it can be removed and cleaned separately. Very nice. The downside is that the kegerator top is plastic and is made cheaply. I modified this by inserting a plate of aluminum under the top. It was less than flat after the mod, but it now securely holds the 3-faucet tower in place. There is no air circulation inside the kegerator chamber or tower, so I solved this by building my own kegerator tower cooler. I believe that this sufficiently moves the air around the whole kegerator. Overall a very cost effective solution for a home kegerator system, large capacity, relatively easy to modify. As long as it gives me many years of service, I'll be very satisfied with this purchase.

I had considered building my own, but then this went on sale and was cheaper than I could have built one. It was delivered ahead of schedule. Only a small dent in the side, but covered so no big deal. Easy to set up and beer flowing withing a couple hours of delivery. I wish the tap wasn't spring loaded and the tower were a little more sturdy, but I'll eventually change it to a dual tap I'm sure. So far only putting in craft beer 1/6 barrels and they fit great and flow very well.

My son gave it to me for a Christmas present . Was easy to set up. Fits half keg of Coors Light beer even though manual says it won't. Nothing like an ice cold beer right from the tap. Also added a personalized beer tap I bought online.

I bought this kegerator on sale a month ago and it works great. The beer can get cold between about 40° F - 35.5° F which can be controlled by the user. It fits a full size 1/2 barrel keg perfectly without issue. I got the CO2 tank refilled at my local gas warehouse and the gauge works great to control PSI. The reason why I gave this a 4 star review instead of 5 is because if I don’t move the tap handle everyday (to pour a glass) the handle gets stuck. Like something is causing it to stick. If I wait a week between pouring glasses I have to gently force the handle down to get it unstuck. Don’t know if it is the beer making it stick or what. I may need to take it apart and oil the parts to ensure a smooth handle shift.

I was able to pick this up at a great deal and I am very impressed with it. You can't tell how large it is from the picture, but it's tall enough that the average person can dispense beer very comfortably. It also fits the common 1/2 kegs. It will also fit smaller ones as well. You cannot use the shelves with the 1/2 keg. That's ok I have a separate beer fridge for bottles. Putting it together isn't that difficult, but the instructions are written bad. So, make sure you read them over and over before completing the assembly. There are steps that you need to take to mount the co2 tank on the backside to allow for more room inside, but they tell you this later in the directions. But, it's all good...I figured it out. If you do install the tank on the backside this will make it so you have to have the kegerator about a foot from the wall. I have mine in the corner so it doesn't matter. The only thing is I can't get the beer to not be so foamy, but as I read about the problem it could be that I need to let the new keg rest longer after transport...or that the first 5 pints are always foamy and I haven't gotten through it yet. The tank is easy to adjust though. ***Make sure you get the tank filled somewhere first. We have a keg place in town and they fill as well, but not all places do. Also, paintball places fill the co2 tanks apparently. So, call around to see where you need to go. I started with a cheaper beer to test at first. It tastes and works great. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I was very happy with my purchase. The price was the lowest I could find and it works quite well. Free home shipping was an added bonus. Very simple to put together. The only issue I have is with the CO2 regulator. It is very finicky and I had to set it very low so there isn't a ton of foam in my beer. It makes for a slow pour, but you get used to it

This is a pretty decent/average kegerator. Keeps the beer cold. I've mostly done the 1/6 barrel kegs (~5 gallons) and it has no issues with the height. Setup was fairly simple with their instructions. Finding someone to fill, rather than replace, the brand new CO2 tank took some effort. Personally, my biggest issue, after using the kegerator a couple weeks, I replaced the CO2 regulator. The one that comes with it was finicky and inconsistent -- we'd get it setup with the beer, and a night or two it would work great. The next day, despite still having CO2 and no changes to the regulator, the regulator would show 0 PSI. It was an ongoing battle of trying to get the regulator and beer to cooperate even when no changes were being made to either. I bought a Taprite regulator on Amazon, and those issues are now resolved. The fridge, tap, hoses, etc have all worked as expected, but needing a new $70 regulator to get it functioning correctly, less than a month in, was not appreciated. Glad I bought it on sale. Not worth full price.

For the price this is an excellent Kegerator. I got it on sale for an excellent price. It will hold a full 1/2 keg (15.5 gallons). The temp at its lowest setting will easily freeze a keg so keep an eye on temps. I have mine set on 5 and beer is 36F. The tower is fully insulated and can be easily upgraded to a full stainless one or two tap. The CO2 tank and regulator are good quality with no leaks. I upgraded the regulator on mine to one with a gauge showing tank pressure so I'll know when I'm getting low. Overall it's good quality at a great price with lots of upgrade options. I did add a tower cooler that I built myself out of a 80mm computer fan, 4" plastic electrical junction box, and a 5/8" id clear hose. Keeps the tower cool and makes for a chilled first pour with little to no foam. Also helps keeping the air circulating around the keg. I'm keeping my CO2 at around 10 psi. The tower twists into the top of the kegerator in a keyed type of opening. The tolerances were a bit off on mine requiring me to take the screws out of the fridge top and push on the bottom ring to get the tower to lock into place.

I want to start off by saying that this is a great quality product. The fit and finish is very nice and it looks more expensive than it really is. The instructions were very straight forward. The setup is easy, the faucet is preinstalled in the tower and the beer line is already connected. All you need to do is install the tower on the top of the fridge by aligning the holes and then rotating clockwise to lock in place. Keep in mind, a lot of force is required to get the tower to lock into place. I was afraid I was going to break it, but I guess that's normal. I got my co2 filled at a local home-brew supply store for about 15 bucks and picked up a keg and I was ready to go. I noticed that many other reviewers have gotten some foamy beers and spent money on upgrades but I don't think any of that is necessary. I've found that setting psi to around 9-10, setting the fridge temperature to 4, and making sure that the beer line is coiled on TOP of the keg itself (you don't want any part of the beer line hanging below the tap at all, this creates foam.) has gotten me perfect results, however your mileage may vary. Also let your keg cool down, and wait a few hours before tapping the keg when you first get it because the car ride home creates a ton of foam.

The combo comes with the kegerator, a single-faucet tower, faucet and tap handle, empty CO2 tank, beer and gas lines for a standard US keg coupler, and shelves for inside the unit. There is a hole on the backside to run the gas line out to connect with the CO2 tank that can be mounted on the rear. I replaced the single-faucet tower with a double, and have one keg with beer connected to the CO2 tank, then a corny keg for nitro cold brew coffee hooked up to a tank of nitrogen. Both kegs and one tank fit inside, while the other tank is mounted to the back of the unit. The only thing that I have trouble with is excess foam on the first draw due to the tower not being cooled, this can be fixed with a tower fan which zI would recommend to anyone buying this product. All in all, solid product especially for the price.

Super easy to set up. Before you buy though make sure there is some place around you were you can get CO2. The beer distributors around my house were unable to fill the CO2 tank included with this, but luckily there was a place close near me where you could pay to get a full CO2 tank. Can put any size keg in which makes it convenient.

Because of the price, this unit will more than likely be the first "Kegerator" you own. Do yourself a favor and watch as many videos regarding setup as you can BEFORE attempting to assemble. These systems are complicated yet simple and are by no means, plug and play! Hoses need to be cleaned, washers need to be in the right place and connections need to be air tight. Slowly and moderately adjust the CO2 pressure. The gas needs to settle, pressure needs to stabilize and temperature needs to be correct before you will begin to see a usable product. This system is designed to work with the correct setup. Don't blame Insignia because you failed to set it up correctly. The reason for only 4 stars is that the supplied regulator needs to be tinkered with to get the correct gas pressure. Be patient!

Great kegerator for a first purchase. This is not a professional quality kegerator, but for the price it's unbeatable. You can actually buy a dual tap tower if you want to invest another 150-200 bucks for the second tap. This says it fits 1/2 or 1/4 slim barrels, but should hold 1/6 barrel kegs fine too. I would recommend adding USB fans that blow into the tower to keep the tower ice cold, and one for just generally circulating the air inside. Beer always tastes better on draught, and once you get set up and are used the system, it is always cheaper this way. Just have to get enough friends to help you cycle through your beers. According to the manual it does NOT fit COORS kegs, not that I have had a Coors keg, but just a heads up.
