Been looking for a kegerator for some time for my home brew and commecial brew. Price was just right. No CO2 leaks, no problem maintaining a steady level of chill, no pressure problems. Only reason not a 5 star due to lack of clear instructions and/or possible missing part. When connecting the tap tube to the keg, there should be a washer. My washer was either lost in the packaging or not included. After 3 connection attempts with leaks, I turned to the internet and found a video that explained the washer need. Found in the spare part bag. This is really a 4.75 out of 5.

Smart design, easy to assemble, extra parts provided for those that drop and lose screws. Runs quietly and has enough inside room for other drinks if you use a quarter keg or smaller.. My old kegerator, which was ruined during a hurricane cost much more and wasn't as good. Truly a best buy.

Works great! Comes with the C02 tank empty, but once it was filled up and everything hooked up, it's been great!

Fantastic product! Luckily my dad has experience setting up his kegerator, otherwise set-up would have been tough. BUT the directions were great, and it took about an hour to set up and troubleshoot with the new gas tank and keg I purchased. We bought some new handles and fun accessories, and it looks great in our bar area!

Great Kegerator! Well packaged, installation instructions were clear and easy to understand. Assembly was quick and easy. Included CO2 cylinder was good quality. Included CO2 regulator was good. Would have liked high pressure gauge, but I knew what I was getting. Ordered high pressure gauge and it was easy to install. Cools very efficiently. I currently have two kegs of beer in unit and it is able to maintain 32 degrees easily. Unit included two day shipping but, unfortunately, it arrived a day late. No big deal, but a bit of a disappointment. All in all, very satisfied with purchase and I would recommend the unit to others.

Unit is quiet and seems to cool well. My beer coming out of the tap is about 38 degrees F. Unit can comfortably fit two current kegs and a co2 bottle inside. The works be tight but may be doable. Only one gas hose will fit through there hole on the inside for co2 - but if you get a 4mm ID EVABarrier tubing with an outer OD of 8mm you can get two co2 lines from an outside co2 tank

Simple First Kegerator System Works Great

So being at this price point I was worried about quality, but after spending my first night getting all my Co2 pressure right and my temps set, I recommend 3-4 setting for the temp. I froze my lines the first night trying to keep it too cold. Since that its been great it was easy to put together and come with wheels if i want to roll it out to the block party.
My only concern was when it showed up a minor piece of plastic was broken off the top front left corner nothing I was to concerned about because it sits against the wall, but this would be a deal breaker for some people.
Other then that performs better then expected.

I purchased this as a gift. As many of the reviews have mentioned, it is key to tighten all connections during set up and it may take a few tries to dial in the settings to the perfect configuration for you. We use a lower CO2 setting and get many kegs from a single CO2 tank. This is a great entry model for a kegerator and has many great expansion options too. We're currently debating expanding the tap to a two tap system as the space easily fits two 1/6 kegs with no problem (always good to have a back up ready for when the keg kicks :) ). The kegerator was delivered super fast and was very easy to set up.

Terrible instructions, unit needs upgrades

As other reviews state, the instructions are vague and hard to follow.
The main problem is the lack of detail for the gaskets and knowing where and how to put them in There is another post that goes into great detail about what gaskets go where, but the main point is the one that is duck bill shaped goes in the CO2 line(the duck bill going into the actual line and the flat part against the tap and the flat rubber gasket goes with beer line. Fyi you cannot get it to seal by hand tightening, use a wrench BUT a 1/4 turn, at most, is all that is needed or you will cut the gasket (which i did the first time)
That being said there is more that goes in than hooking up the keg and co2 and drinking. DO YOUR RESEARCH. This unit comes with a 5ft beer line which will work for your regular beers (bud light, etc.), but if you do craft beers plan on getting a new line. I drink Sam Adams summer ale and couldn't get foaming issues to stop, all due to this short beer line.
After changing the beer line i would randomly get foam issues. I changed the faucet to a different style and have not had this issue ever again. The faucet they include with the unit has a ball that stops the beer when closed, when it is fully open. randomly you will get a foamy poor (all foam no beer). I think the ball creates a venturi effect and produces excessive foam.
This unit appears to be aimed for the first time buyer, but the lack of information is the down fall. After a few hours of research and a few upgrades it is a great unit. But as for the unit being an off the shelf, plug and play. this unit, it is not, and the best advice i can give is to do the research before you buy it.

Bought it on sale for $350. It's the cheapest I've ever seen it. First time Kegerator owner and bought this just after looking into reviews and doing a little research. I will echo what others have said, definitely needs a couple upgrades. I'm going to buy a better tap handle so it doesn't get sticky. If you don't use it every day, it will definitely stick. Also, annoying is the fact the tower won't slide to being straight on. Just a cosmetic thing, but annoying. Upgrading the tower to a screw in will fix that. For $350 you won't find better (or cheaper). Couple upgrades and you're good to go!

Follow these simple guidelines and you will be successful in setting up and operating your Kegerator.
First off, when it arrives, unbox it as indicated on the package.
Everything is clearly illustrated but there are a few tricks. The draft arm assembly is an insert and twist type, but the 4 screws at the base protrude about 1/16th inch too long and restrict the insert and twist motion required. Simply back them off about two turns, insert and twist as shown, then retighten the screws.
Do not plug it in yet. Let it sit overnight in the place you intend to use it. Next day, set the thermostat to 3.5, place a small cup of water inside anong with a remote reading thermometer. Do not chase the thermostat up and down. It takes several hours for everything inside to normalize. I ended up with 35 deg. but it will get below freezing if you turn up the thermostat.
Get your keg and hook it up but do not turn the co2 on. Let the keg settle a few hours. After waiting, turn on the co2 and slowly increase the perssure to about 8 lbs. Get a pitcher, your first pour will be a little foamy. Enjoy from there on and chuckle at the rest of humanity that just rushes through the set up process and gives a bad review due to temperature and foam problems.

Amazing kegerator, great price, works great, and easy to setup. The only issue is that the CO2 tank that came with it was already expired. They can only be used for 5 years before having to be replaced. Make sure you look at the tanks date to ensure that you do not have an accident with the tank. Also, find out where you can fill up your tank or swap them out as the tanks come empty.

I purchased this unit due a 20% discount that Bestbuy was running. Delivered to my door in 3 days. Went and purchased a keg and filled the tank that it came with. Got the keg and tank home and was literally pouring beer 10 minutes later. The regulator can be a little tricky to adjust just perfectly but once the tank chills to an even temp, the pressures have maintained. So far I have had 10 pours on this unit and all of them have been great.

Love the option to have the CO2 in the fridge or on the back. The flush drip tray is also nice. Have an issue with the first CO2 tank emptying quickly, but hope to have it resolved. Free fast shipping to Hawaii was also very nice.
