An outdoor holiday show at a small Florida botanical garden used computer-controlled equipment (two dozen control boxes, about 180 lights) connected by a few radio links and many cat-5 cables (various brands). There were no failures despite considerable rain during the month of operation. The most critical such link was a long one from the laptop to the first controller, handled by a new Insignia cable. It was very convenient to find a 150 foot cable on short notice when, for reasons still unknown, radio wouldn't work.

this extra long 100" cable works great. I had a rear bedroom the had no internet and I was able to get this cable to reach from the living room to the back bedroom with very little work

I needed a longer cat5e cable than the standard length that came with my home security camera. The length was more than enough, and it was easy to unwind without getting all tangled up. When I connected it to my camera it powered on as expected, and there were no problems. I recommend this cable if you have an IP camera and need more length to connect it where you need it.

Picked up this cable at local store. Seems made of good material and is durable. Was long enough to connect to a router in another room. Was easy to connect and after using for a few hours the connection seems really reliable. Would recommend this cable to anyone.

I have Comcast internet is pretty fast but I wasn't really convinced about the wifi so I picked this up and I hardly notice any lag or problems connecting with friends really great buy plus it's really long so wherever I any it will reach

Product is well made and there is no loss in speed with the length. I was able to connect the cable from my router to a Playstation 4 in another room and got 200MB download with no issues. Very pleased.

So I wanted to wait a long time before reviewing this, because I've read they go bad after a few months. I've had this going both through the inside and outside of my house, through an entire year (summer and winter) and it's still going strong. I haven't seen any issues with the wire outside or inside the house, and the internet speeds haven't slowed at all. I highly recommend this!!! I was going to buy a random no-brand cable for cheaper, but I'm really glad I didn't.

I needed a longer cable to run from my switch to my wife's PC and found that this 25' option fit the bill perfectly. It's not expensive and works. But with a digital signal, it either works or it doesn't so there really isn't much to review here. It worked, was the right length, and CAT5e UTP was the correct speed for my Gigabit network. There are no included extras but the snagless connectors are a welcome addition over bargain basement or do-it-yourself cables.

ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS GAME WITH MY BUDDIES BUT I KEPT LAGGING. SOMEONE SAID I SHOULD SWITCH TO AN ETHERNET CABLE AND HARD WIRE TO MY MODEM. I WENT TO MY LOCAL BEST BUY PURCHASED THIS CABLE AND WAS GAMING WITH NO LAG IN NO TIME. ALL MY STREAMING SERVICES STOPPED LAGGING ALSO. GREAT CABLE FOR YOUR INTERNET NEEDS!

I have purchased many Insignia products over the years from Best Buy. I find the quality and dependability to be very good for the price. I bought this cable so I could direct connect the "Roku - Ultra Streaming Media Player - Black" to my internet router when I discovered that was an option vs. WIFI. It works great and haven't had any problems. My only complaint is that when I went to the store to buy the cable my choice were 2Ft., 6Ft., 25Ft., or 100Ft. lengths. A 12 Ft. was all I needed. It was strange that they didn't carry that length. I suppose that they might have that length on line, but I wanted to install the Roku now and didn't want to wait for days to receive it in the mail if they even carried that length.

Durable and works fine. Easy install. Was long enough for the job.

Unfortunately I did have to return this item. Not because of anything other than I didn't have the use for it, like I originally I thought . I have purchased this product but a longer one from Best Buy. The 25 foot version of this product and it excels at rapid speeds, I love the fact that it's offered at the length in which I purchased.

Purchases this 100’ roll as a temporary means of connecting my Xbox 1S directly to my router to decrease lag/packet loss (gaming irritations) at a temporary residents a little over a year ago. Only needed 50’ or-so but 100’ was the only option at the Best Buy closest to me, not a big deal, no need to order it and wait for it to be shipped, so I brought it home, plugged everything in, and it worked perfectly. As you could imagine, this un-spliced 100’ section of cable was very meticulously routed throughout the rent house I was living in at the time, but certain areas of foot traffic were unavoidable so some parts of the wire have been through hell but surprisingly it is still intact and has only minor signs of wear. Hasn’t lost a bit of bandwidth and I even used it to temporarily connect the updated WiFi router in my new home through the attic to my media closet, with a foot or two left over to spare. In hindsight I’m really glad that didn’t splice it!

I needed an ethernet cable to use with my Samsung SmartTV (also purchased from Best Buy...cuz I love this place) and this one was just perfect. I had a $5 reward from Best Buy so I ended up paying around 5 bucks for it and it has been working like a charm. I can watch Netflix and Hulu Plus without having to depend on a weak signal from the wifi.

I was in need of a secure connection for a new online job I just acquired. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money beyond what I already had! This was perfect and WOW how much faster my connection is compared to the WiFi. Cheap and great quality! And it’s long and doesn’t look hideous lol

Card is very premium, long and reach far places and can easily install. Maintains speeds.

Purchased cable to hardwire my Apple TV 4K to my network and it has been great result. It is a CAT 5e and can handle gigabit speeds which is the internet speed of my network. The price was reasonable and length was perfect for my application. Great product

I just needed an extra cable to keep my smart TV connected to the internet as the WiFi sometimes drops when I'm using Netflix. It was long enough and the connections are secure. I get the maximum speed needed to watch Netflix in 4k so it works great.
