5 weeks and tc not responding to remote

Good batteries. We have to unplug then replug the tv power cord for it to reset, then the remote works. Boo.

TV works well and the display is nice, but navigating through all these App is a nightmare. wish it was easier just to keep the few I actually use. might be easier for those familiar with the Amazon display

Stay Away - stopped working within 6 months.

Owned for 5 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I want to preface this review by saying that I've never had a bad experience with Best Buy, and not only that, I had an Insignia TV that I LOVED for 5 years, but please do not buy this TV, save yourselves. There is something seriously wrong with this TV, and I think it's a hardware issue - it randomly started crashing and restarting every time I try to watch it. This happens almost immediately after I play something, whether I'm streaming through the TV's internet connection or watching something that's native or plugged in separately. It goes black and then appears at the home page minutes later, and it has gotten increasingly worse to where we just unplugged it and have given up. I have looked up every potential solution and have tried the following... -Downloading all available/current system updates -Deleting apps to free up some space -Clearing cache on all apps -Checking wires/internet connection -Factory reboot None of the above solutions worked. So, I contacted a Best Buy representative to set up an online return and get a prepaid label to ship this back to Best Buy, and I was told that my only option is to bring the TV to the store. For those like me who live in an urban area and don't own a car, and not to mention we're going through a pandemic.....this is extremely frustrating. I can't exactly bring a 50 inch TV onto the subway as a 120 pound woman, hence the reason I had it shipped here in the first place. I guess I have to pay for an uber driver to help me get this to the store now. I'm disappointed -- I had saved up to buy myself a nice, upgraded TV, and after paying $300 dollars, I expected my TV to last a few good years, and I expected better customer service from Best Buy. Do yourself a favor and don't make the same mistake I did. Buy a different TV, and to my fellow city dwellers, think twice before ordering a large item from Best Buy if you can't walk to one.
