I took a chance on Insignia. Failed after just 13 months. All I get now is a thin white line with sound. Very disappointing. Used as a wall-mount TV in living room about 6 hours a week.

Not too bad, has a bit of a brightness issue, but for the price it's great! Would get a other one if available.

Ensure that you purchase all warranties associated with this television. I bought it on December 23, 2021, as a Christmas gift, and ceased working May 2023. Needless to admit, but I won't be a repeat buyer of this brand. Sheesh!

After a year and a half of owning this tv it now has white and green lines going through the display. Unfortunately the warranty is only one year and this isn’t something the geek squad can fix.

Second Insignia to die out after 1 year...

This is the second Insignia TV that has burned out after having it for just barely over a year. Feels like they make these things to last just long enough to survive past the one year warranty before they suddenly die out on you—requiring expensive repairs or straight up replacing. The first TV gave off a putrid burning smell and died completely, and this particular 50 inch television I purchased during a holiday sale still gives sound but absolutely no picture making it completely unusable. Extremely disappointed seeing as I have an old Samsung close to 10 years old that still works just fine. I guess you get what you pay for. Highly disappointed in the Insignia brand and I will definitely not trust it the third time around. As the saying goes, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." I don't have the money to keep replacing televisions that should be lasting me several years.

I bought this TV Feb 2022 and I have had nothing but trouble with the remotes and now the tv went out today. Fuzzy screen and it has been in the same spot since I brought it home. DO NOT RECOMMEND

I bought this 18 months ago for my poor sweet old mother. She says the TV will not display anything, even though she can hear the audio. I know no one would buy a TV that they expected to only last 18 months so when I found out about the year warranty I was surprised. I wouldn't have bought this TV had I known it was such poor quality. Since Best Buy nor Insignia will do anything about the problem, they have lost me as a customer forever. The stores all look trashy now and they refuse to stand behind their products. Best Buy just isn't what is was when I was young. They are terrible now and simply cannot be trusted. A TV should last more than 18 months and if it doesn't they should replace it. Anything less kinda feels like I got robbed. Never buy this TV or any other Insignia products if you want the item for more than one use...

I got this tv as a replacement to a defective 4k Toshiba fire tv that kept flickering and flashing colors in the background that could potentially induce seizures. The only reason I chose this tv was because my wife had purchased this exact model during black friday in 2019 and that tv performs well and has no issues thus far. However after owning this particular Insignia 4k fire tv for 8 days, it is also beginning to do the color flickering and flashing problem. The remote is not very responsive. The connectivity to the house wifi has also been horrendous. I do not recommend that anyone purchase this tv. Save yourself the money and the stress and pick a better tv. I will have to return this tv and get another replacement. This is the second tv I have purchased from the Mount Vernon Best Buy that has the exact same flickering issue. Are they just selling defective tv's Now? If this happens a third time I will no longer be purchasing tv's from this Best Buy.

This was our main tv and the screen completely stopped working after 2yrs and 1 month. We had the geek squad protection plan but it expired a month prior to the incident so of course they couldn’t help at all. Very unfortunate.
