    Worked fine until it died completely. Insignia and Best Buy should be ashamed for a product that can't last even 5 years.

    Menu randomly pops up

    Bought because it’s a smart tv and wanted to switch from a roku tv. Bought a certified refurb first and returned because the menus keeps randomly popping up. Got a roku tv and could not get all our cable channels to program. Returned for another insignia in a larger size hoping the menu thing was a fluke. It’s not. The menu pops up at least 4 times a day and either goes to the home menu with no video or brings up the app menu with video in the background. Also, now if it sits on mute for longer than 30 minutes, the screen goes black and you have to unplug and reset the tv.

    The tv keeps glitching, while watching one app it continues to jump to another app. It also has been stopping in the middle of watching a movie and going back to the Home Screen. You can see the screen moving like a wave while watching tv also.

    Worked long enough to add my apps then died and would not turn back on again. Tried Insignia troubleshooting help line with no luck. Returned and got a 50” TCL and much happier.

    Worst!!! Didn’t even last a year!!! It was never dropped, or anything. The screen froze while watching a basketball game and when I realized it had frozen I thought NBA League pass was frozen mid feed. So I tried to exit the app and when that didn’t work I turned the TV off to then turn it back on and see a tv screen that was white and black and multiple colored lines all over it. Just don’t even bother with this purchase. I feel bad Amazon linked up with such a horrible tv company!!

    In less than 2 weeks I had to return this TV to Best Buy for an exchange. The TV developed a horizontal line through the middle of the picture. This was just a bad TV. I have had good luck with this brand, Best Buy took care of me.

    Remote stopped working without any reason

    The TV remote stopped working in less than a month. called best buy and they said its covered under warrantly and they will send another one... .. that was over 45 days ago and still nothing.. i have a TV with no remote, so pretty much useless buyer beware

I am sorry to read that you are having remote issues with your TV, I know how frustrating this can be due to the TV's limited buttons. Please help me with the following troubleshooting point:
      -Factory Reset the Voice Remote by pressing and holding: DPAD-left, back and menu (options) buttons for 10 seconds.

    Our screen turned dark grey/black while watching. We’ve only had it 1 1/2yrs. 1st tv we’ve ever owned to only last this long. Of course it’s outside the warranty. We will not purchase this brand again.

    Let me go in and say a little tell you a little story I purchased this TV my first one it lasted one year started getting lines in it they replaced it because it was still under a year warranty the second one lasted one year it is not worth the money do not get this TV this is the worst purchase I have ever did each TV of this brand only lasted one year not worth the money the second TV I have sound and a black screen

    Worst TV ever! Lasted 6 months and then died, no picture, no sound, no fix either! Do your homework when buying TV’s cause I didn’t and didn’t get warranty either! TV’s aren’t what they used to be!

    I’m still having problems using this new TV. Sometimes when I use the remote to power on the set it doesn’t turn on. There are times that I need to try several times to get the set to power on. I’m still considering getting a replacement TV for this current one.

    Great TV for the price. This is my second one, and the led backlight burned out on this one too. I thought the first time was a fluke. This time it lasted 1 year and 3 months. If you buy this TV, MAKE SURE YOU BUY THE WARRANTY.

    Had the tv 6 months to come home to the tv being pixles and nothing happened to it. Then have to wait 4 days for a service tech to come out to look at it since they dont do tv service in store over 42 in.

    Can not take off the auto sleep mode

    I purchased this TV to display a menu, which requires nothing complicated but just a picture displayed. However the TV goes to sleep every 5 minutes and screen goes dark. I tried turning off the sleep/timer but it still goes to sleep, I contacted the TV’s customer service and they told me that it’s an automatic feature that can not be turned off. What a joke, I thought the representative was joking but no he was serious. So a total garbage if you ask me because it not doing what I need it to do, and stay on. Keep going to sleep every 5 mins, even if I set the timer to 240 mins.

    Had this tv for less than 3 years. Was only located in 1 place, never moved...and the screen has gone dim. It appears the backlight has gone out.
