One year in and the sound is off, the screen has black blobs in it and the hdmi port is loose so you have to unplug it and replug it back in to "fix" the sound every time you turn the tv on.

The Insignia TV is very nice! BUT... The Fire TV software is horrible if you have Spectrum service. FIRE TV IS NOT COMPATIBLE with SPECTRUM INTERNET!!! Sad! Made me regret my purchase!

I have tried numerous times to do a channel scan, at the end it says I have like 27 channel, but when u go to channel management there are none. I would recommend this tv if your not using an antenna.

I purchased this TV on July 16, 2022. Beginning in August, I started to see white lines come across when the TV was on more than 30 minutes. Now, August 14, 2023 - TV is almost completely out. Of course I did not buy the extended warranty...and of course the TV went out one year, and one month AFTER manufacturer warranty expired. I do not recommend this TV unless you plan on using it every blue moon.

I buy all my electronics and household items from Best Buy never had issues however this tv Ive had since Dec 2022. Its April 2023 and I have to get another tech to come look at my tv because the remote doesn't connect to the tv. This is frustrating. I don't think ill ever buy another insigna tv again. Im glad I have the geek squad warranty on top of the manufacture warranty. Lets see how long it takes to get the tech out here again.

Hi there. Thanks for your reply. Maybe the battery dead cause it doesn't connect to TV. Suggest to change a new pair battery. If issue still there, you could refer to this webpage troubleshooting solution: https://automatelife.net/insignia-fire-tv-remote-not-working/ BBY-ExBrand_Insignia

We had it for only a year and one month. The screen went out and Best Buy wanted $99.99 just to get a diagnosis of what was wrong. There is no reason something like this should happen in such a small amount of time. Tvs should last for years, not barely over a year. When we tried to utube how to fix it, we saw several complaints about the same issue. Highly disappointed. I always had faith in Best Buy because I thought they were a good name company. I was wrong!

Don’t expect any warranty even if you have one.

Didn’t even make it a year. It took an hour phone call to warranty dept to be passed around and told to hold for someone else. Finally they told me they would call me back and its been 2 days, with no call. Also no proof I placed warranty claim before it expires in 3 more days. Probably screwed. Never count on BB’s warranty, because it doesn’t really exist. Last time I ever buy anything from BB - at least Circuit City honored their warranty. Hope ya’ll go out of business soon.

Well after two years, the screen has gone black and according to the FAQ, it appears this is a typical thing happening with this model. Will not buy an Insignia EVER again. Waste of money, you get what you pay for.

I have only had the Tv for 1 year and 2 months. After 6 months it need a new motherboard, That was covered under warranty. Now 7 -8 months later the screen won’t turn on. The only option to fix it was to pay more money than I paid for the TV itself. This TV was trash I would not recommend it. I have never owned a TV that only lasted one year in two months.

I had this tv for not even 6 months before the backlight broke and the picture stopped working completely. Was still under warranty and when the Geek Squad came to fix it I was told that this was a common occurrence with this brand of TV and it could not be fixed. The tv may look good but this is a poor quality tv that I cannot recommend you buy.
