    Very poor quality

The tv only lasted 1.5 years before the led went out, of course the warranty was only for 1 year. Unfortunately I didn’t purchase the extended warranty, I expected better quality from Insignia. Would not recommend this brand or at least make sure to purchase only with extended warranty.

    Subpar picture/sound

If you’ve never owned a LED Tv, this will at first look decent. Compared to other models, it’s really subpar. I own a TCL R617 55” as my primary tv and the difference is stunning. I spend one or two wknds a month at relatives and bought this for there. Especially in picture. Some programs look barely decent, but most lack clarity, are over saturated, fuzzy, etc. I don’t watch any action/sci-fi//special effects on the insignia, only watch docus/comedies/news here. Sound, even for the very low bar of smart TVs, is also horrendous. Tinny, sibilant, etc. Plus, it’s so loud that you rarely go over 20-2. Plus, annoyingly, if you wanna mute it flashes “MUTE” and you can’t turn it off. Only positive is amazon fire, but that’s no better than Roku. And that’s negated by bestbuy’s short 15 day return policy; plus, when returning, you’ll probably have to deal with attitude and shaming by the reps there. O Ot a year after purchasing am strongly considering buying an upgrade, even for 1-2 wknds a month. Pay the extra money for a better TV if you can.

Turns itself off, switches inputs randomly--awful

This was the first Insignia product we've ever bought and will also be the last. It's a total lemon--the only terrible TV I have ever owned. It turns off by itself when you're watching TV. It constantly switches inputs randomly, especially in the first couple minutes after you turn it on, when it keeps cycling through the inputs by itself. It loses the connection to the sound bar even though that's plugged in via an HDMI cable, and the sound quality without the sound bar is abysmal. The picture quality is good, but the constant hassles with it turning off, switching inputs by itself, and losing sound make it a nightmare. I wish we'd returned it while we could, but the problems increased exponentially about 1 month past the return period.

    Not the product expected

I honestly don't know how this TV got such good reviews. Those people reviewed this product too early! Onwards to mine and my wife's experience. We have owned this television for approximately 2 years and at first the tv was awesome! I do agree with that but after two years of ownership the processor/RAM began to slow down. For instance, the TV's apps buffer a ton thus stopping our shows and videos from playing. Then sometimes the apps wouldn't open at all so we had to force close the app and clear the cache to try and get the app running again and that was hit and miss sometimes and now we are beginning to experience sometimes the audio would go out for a minute or two and come back, we don't have any kids nor any company to be around to have an attempt of damage it and all of this is happening. We are highly dissastisfied with the product and will never be buying Insignia's products nor will we be recommending them. I guess we lived up to the saying on this one: "You get what you pay for."

After owning it less than a year, it started doing some weird thing where the picture looked wavey. But only at times. The remote burns through the batteries insanely quickly, like every 2 months.

    Buyer Beware.

TV stopped working after 1 year sadly & coincidentally after the 12 month warranty is up. Whole screen started with a dark shadow band and went totally black within a day suddenly - LEDs burnt out completely. Never purchased the extended warranty which is Best Buy and Insignia’s only fall back plan to you…they will not work with you or help you. Geek Squad sited a $100 “just to confirm it isnt working” & “ additional fees for parts and labor which could cost more than the tv was worth. So if you’re looking for a deal, this brand tv isn’t gonna be a good bet.

Better off spending a little more on a better TV

Great sound, great picture for the most part but the negatives are so bad. Tv has issues when it comes to dark colors and even when it doesnt its awful, I’m not expecting a lot for the price but there’s issues where the image lags in the Background and even in the the foreground that causes this wobbly thing image when you’re watching a show or movie. There’s not a day that goes by I wish I had a better tv, if this for you don’t get it. But if its for a family member you don’t like cause they stole your toy as a kid and want something to slowly destroy them inside this is for you
