I am assuming this television is cheap due to the Amazon Fire built in. Insignia Television’s are reliable, great picture, budget friendly alone- but the Fire TV built in actually lowers its rating due to the annoying unremovable auto shut off feature and the weekly rebooting due to frozen apps.

So glad I was able to snag this TV for my parents during Black Friday! They love it, especially after my brother and I programmed all their apps. We’ve been able to stream our shows and sports, and haven’t had any issues. The only thing missing is Xfinity Stream, but so far we’ve been able to download apps to work around that (i.e. ESPN, Fox Sports, CBS). I’m just happy they no longer have to be tied to an HDMI cord or be stuck watching their shows on their phone.
