We bought this for the basement. It was light enough I could carry it by myself. Had it for a month now. The picture and audio are nice & clear. Hook ups (DVD player, older video game console, sound bar) were easy. The remote is easy to use.
I would purchase this TV again.

This is a good tv for anyone on a budget. Only con I see is that it automatically shuts off minutes after leaving it idle with a video paused. If they fix this then I’d give it 5 stars.

I really ended a new TV after my last flatscreen “died” (RIP) so I hoped online at BestBuy to see what kind of deals they had and found this Insignia 50” for 299$ Picked it up in-store that day and took it home. Set up was flawless, super easy and the picture is amazing!

Nice set for the price. I wanted a streaming TV for a workout area and this fits the bill. It is easy to see, has a nice picture, ties in to Alexa easily and the sound is fine. I am also using an over the air antenna with it for more free channels and am trying out You Tube TV.

When my old Smart Tv burned out I was happy to find this TV met all expectations and wasn't too expensive. For the Money this is a great buy. Be very careful how you handle it though, I've heard any pressure on the glass can cause serious damage.

I have never previously owned an Insignia TV. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and ease of use of this TV. With the built in Fire TV feature, it makes watching and streaming shows and movies a breeze. All around a very solid performing TV.

The set up was easy but our learning curve has been a little slower. But love the size and everything we have learned so far. I was worried 50 inches would be too large but it is great. I was having issues with small print and now it's no problem for me.

I bought this TV deliberately for my gym because I don't need anything crazy. At the time, the price was awesome for what I got. The picture was pretty decent for the price and the sound is very good for a cheap TV.
Now, the most important thing is that basically this TV is a ticking time bomb. It is known to die after ~2 years. Mine started flickering and displaying unsynced content with additional lines ~26 months after purchase. My Total Tech warranty for it also just ran out I believe. No big deal: when it dies 100%, I'll just grab another low end TV for my gym.
I rated as average because it is an average TV, and it was extremely cheap and it served its purpose for 2 years for me.

Enjoying the large screen as I can watch without glasses, clear picture and sound. Just wish I could figure out how to set caption on as I have difficulty understanding what's said sometimes. Was easy to set up and to maneuver to different apps

I bought this as an extra room TV - it was an awesome deal for the size so I wasn't expecting much! This TV is super clear! Super easy to use, my son loves the voice remote! I do not have one bad thing to say about this - we use it for You Tube, movies, video games, etc!

I'm impressed with my new Insignia TV. It's proven to be a good choice at a great price.
The GEEK Squad that helped set it up were professional & thorough.
The Customer Care representatives were also very helpful & diligent assisting me. Although at times, they were limited in what they could assist with, ie: they were able to assist with an order change, but could not send a confirmation email of the update. This led to lengthy hold times to speak to whom ever could send me a confirmation email.
Too much hold time, extension #'s not valid. A bit of what seemed like script reading. But people doing their best with assisting me. My hope is that Corporate Best Buy appreciates the hard work that ALL the folks under them are doing...
I will definitely purchase from BB again. Now that I know the routine.
Thank you,
SHarrison

Easy curbside pickup. It was packaged securely, but easy to remove.
The tv itself surpasses all expectations for the price. Good enough sound for a bedroom, no need to add a soundbar in this instance. The smart tv aspect works flawlessly.
Highly recommend.

Packaged securely (though I did store pickup) and easy to set up. Ive had it for about two months, and so far the quality has been great—both the screen and sound—for the size of my living room. My one gripe is that every time I turn it on, it gives me a “no network detected” message. But it usually reconnects to wifi automatically in about 5 seconds, so it’s not a big concern. I’ve never had a smart TV before, so I’m not sure if that’s a common issue. Either way, it’s a “gripe” but not worth taking off a star. It’s Amazon echo compatible, which is fun! For the price (I did get it on sale too), it’s been perfect.

Coming from a 48" 1080p TV, I have been very impressed with this new one. I mostly use the display with my computer hooked up. Every game instantly looked far superior, even while rendering at 1080p and letting it upscale.
It's hard to review this based on current pricing. I got it on black friday sale for 150$. If I were paying over double then I'm not sure how I would feel. At this price it's a steal. The goal was find a cheap 4k to hold me over until moving to a 43" OLED 4k 120hz display.
If I were paying around 350$ then I think I might just wait and buy something nicer instead. I like this specifically because I paid so little for it.

I was looking for a bigger television for one of the bedrooms and this worked out perfect. Easy to assemble and came with everything already loaded so no need to buy a fire stick.
