Able to set up tv with little effort. Picture clarity is great. Size of screen is perfect for my living room.

My wife is legally blind, so this is both her TV and her computer monitor. She has icons the size of your fist! LOL She is not a cutting-edge person, so doesn't need all the latest whistles and bells. And being vision impaired, she is not in a position to appreciate the latest, greatest ultra-mega-fantabulous-high def. But this TV was just what the doctor ordered: a solid performer for an affordable price. Couldn't ask for more. Have always done well w/ Insignia.

Picture is very good, And great for watching baseball and will be great to watch Football in Fall too.Great for our garage.

Bought this tv for $200 for Black Friday. Wonderful TV, Best Buy brand is quality. Cannot beat the price for the size!

Bought this to replace my old TV. I specifically wanted a 1080P TV because none of my devices are 4K and feared they would look ugly when upscaled to 4K. For TVs 40" and up, there's not much to choose from anymore, as most of the market is 4K right now, thankfully I was able to buy this one (though I had to order it online). My previous TV was an Insignia too, but a model from like 8 years ago, the difference in technology shows, the backlight on this one is brighter and the audio sounds better, took a while for my eyes and ears to get used to it, but thankfully the options menu allows you to tweak different aspects of both the picture and audio to adjust it to your specific needs. So far, it has worked pretty well for both watching TV as well as gaming (PS4, Switch, SNES mini), I do have a few minor complaints about the design though : 1.- Audio jack for the headphones is way on the back, previous model I had had it on the side along with the HDMI ports, which was a more sensible position. If you're gonna be using this feature often, you may want to consider an extension so you don't have to reach for the back every time. 2.- Only 3 HDMI ports. Previous model I had also had 3, but I figured after 8 years they would think to add a few extra ones, but I guess this is a budget model after all. A switch is a most if you have many devices. 3.- There's an input sensing option that makes it so only whatever devices are plugged in and turned on will be highlighted on the input menu. This works fine except for the analog TV input, which is permanently ON regardless, a bit annoying since that input will pretty much go unused now that we've switched to digital TV. 4.- This type of stand (two legs on each side) means the furniture where you place your TV has to be slightly wider than the TV , you can't have any over hang. This does make the TV more stable than a center base stand (no wobbling), but it my particular case it was very annoying because I had to get a new piece of furniture for it because the old one was about 2" short.

I love my big screen TV. Love the beautiful picture it has. The color is nice and cleat.

Didn’t need a smart tv. I have a smart blue ray, and a Roku stick. Along with an external sound system. I just needed something with nice sound and picture, that could fit in the space I had for it. Plenty of ways to adjust the picture and the sound to your liking. Also have my laptop hooked up though an hdmi jack, nice picture there too. This tv has worked out perfectly, and was on sale to boot. Had it almost 2 months now. So far, so good.

Great larger TV at a very affordable price. Easy to hook up and watch immediately.
