    My old TV was starting to go, we don't watch a lot of TV and we have a ROKU so we weren't interested in a smart TV. I looked online and saw this TV, it's nice looking and the picture is beautiful. The sound is much better than our old over priced samsung TV. We've only had it for about a month, so not sure about longevity. CAn't beat it for the price that's for sure.

    Picture is good. Sound is average. Remote control is EXTREMELY limited on angle and range of function. You have to be almost directly in front of the TV for it to work. For the price it is a decent deal, though.

    Its a good tv for beginners. It played and the colors were good,yet it had a blur effect. I bought this tv to replace my Hisense and it was no comparison. If I didnt have other tv's, this could work for me. I also noticed the remote was infared, it only worked if you pointed it directly at a certain spot. Overall for the price you probally couldn't get better.

    Was looking for a TV to replace our existing 50" which had a menu window that would stay on the screen all the time. Pick-up the 50" Insignia model. Opened the box, plugged in the power, cable box and Chromecast. Was up and running is less than 10 minutes. No issues to date. The most painful part of the process was programming the cable remote to operate this new TV. Had to try about 15 different codes until we reached the correct one.
