EASY REMOTE AND INSTRUCTIONS. LOTS OF PROS TO BUYING THIS TV. ONLY CONS I CAN THINK OF IS THE SOUND QUALITY, ONE WOULD NEED TO PURCHASE A SOUNDBAR/SUB WOOFER TO MAKE THIS SOUND BETTER. THIS IS THE ONLY NEGATIVE I HAVE WITH THIS TV. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT FOR FUTURE CUSTOMERS, JUST ALSO LOOK FOR ENHANCED SOUND ALONG WITH PURCHASE.

Lasted as long as the warranty

Everything was great with this TV. Picture, sound, size, stand, and price were all great....until the warranty ran out. I never buy extended warranties because my TVs usually break because the kids break the screen. Not a warranty covered repair in my experience. That's actually how I came to buy this TV. I figured if we get a few years out of it for $200 before it ultimately gets smashed, it's worth it. Well, this time, I turned on the TV on a quiet school day afternoon and.......it happened. No picture, only sound. An extended warranty covered issue when I opted out of the extended warranty, only 6 months after the manufacturer warranty expired. So, no, I do not recommend this TV after my experience. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I felt it was fair to warn others of this issue that I have learned is common for this TV. The price is tempting, but be warned, you get what you pay for...a basically disposable TV.

In a world of 4k this tv is only 1080p but delivers an amazing crisp colorful image. I own a vizio 55 4k smart tv. I use the insignia due to the picture quality. Hands down a great buy! I would replace all my TVs with insignia. It does not disappoint!
