I needed a digital coax cable to connect my Bryston DAC to a Schiit Audio preamplifier and was in a bit of a pinch, as the local hi-fi store was out. This Insignia cable at Best Buy was the only one I was able to locate as being immediately available. For the low price I wasn't expecting much in terms of performance, but I was pleasantly surprised. This is a high quality product that sounds excellent. Definitely recommended.

I needed a coax audio cable and bought the Insignia 6' cable. It works better than expected and at a really good price. I'll do it again if needed.

When I replaced my old Blu-Ray player, I discovered that the new equipment sent its audio signal to the receiver via an HDMI cable and my old receiver did not have any HDMI ports. Help ! Did this mean I was now in the market for a new ($$$) receiver? Thankfully the answer was no. The solution is to use coaxial digital audio cable, which my old receiver was happy to accept. Perhaps an HDMI cable would provide a better audio experience, but my research suggested that the difference is slight, and I am satisfied with the cables’ performance.

The way the new blu-ray players are designed, they don't use the yellow and red ports on the back anymore. Everything is digital. But I did not want to upgrade my surround sound in 1 room, so this was able to convert over just fine.

Got this open box and it was just as good as new. No issues with that. Glad to have saved a few dollars off. These are called coaxial...but, as far as I've been able to judge, they are basically a variation on the old rca cable. The tips are a little shorter than rca jacks I'm used to but, these work fine in place of a regular rca cable. I used them to extend the range of my wired speakers that work with rca cables and these have done a great job. They have worked with rca converters too.

Great life saver. Works great with a newer model Sony Blu-ray player and older Sony home receiver. BD player only had hdmi and audio coax out puts. Receiver did not have any hdmi inputs, but did have fiber optic audio inputs and the one coax audio. Works like a gem and all features of my old faithful Sony receiver work well. Life saver! I didn’t have to buy any other equipment for compatibility.

Did the job in setting up older technology to mix with newer more modern technology and Best Buy had this at a great price. I do love Best Buy products and their staff in both Cedar Hill, TX, New Orleans, LA and Alexandria, LA are always so warm, friendly and helpful.

My wife bought me a new sound bar and our tv is 6 years old. The tv didn’t support the optical cable or the old RCA cables for audio out. It did support the orange digital coaxial connection and this cable installed in a couple minutes and sounds great! They are cheaper from online retailers , but I wanted mine immediately

We thought we would give this a try after years of using standard rca coaxial cables. Took a little getting used to, but seems to have a clearer, crisper sound. The standard rca cables vs. the digital coax was like comparing records to cds. One is warmer while the digital has some extra detail, or at least seems to. However, it does give up some of the familiar comfort of traditional standard rca coaxial cables. Boils down to personal preference in the end.

I purchased this cable as a high-quality alternative to purchasing a cable for my subwoofer. This cable is very sturdy, and meets the criteria that my subwoofer/receiver work best with. I have not tried to transmit digital signal with this cable, but imagine it will work fine.

I needed to send digital audio from a Direct TV set box to RCA analog inputs on my receiver (TV sound thru stereo system). This is the cable to get from the set box to the analog/digital converter box (sold separately). I'm sure there are other applications, as well.

I bought these to hook up my DVR to my sound bar and they work great I never knew all these years that is what I needed for that to work a employee helped me when I asked him about it and this is what he said to buy and it works great

What can I say it's a cable & it worked like it should. I'm just glad Best Buy had it, I didn't want to order it online, wait for it and pay shipping for a less than $20.00 item, so kudos to Best Buy.
