I bought 2 of these and they both suffer from the same issue. It's like there is NO tension on the prongs of the plugs to hold the plugs in place. I'm constantly having readjust the plugs reseating them almost daily. When the plugs are even slightly tilted they aren't making contact. Was even concerned there might be a fire hazard, but I haven't felt even the least little bit of heat in the power strip or the plugs thank God. I've owned them for over a year now, and the problem started on day one. On BestBuy tonight to purchase replacements. Will be throwing them away. Poorly made, cheap materials, DO NOT RECOMMEND !!!

This was a fast & inexpensive fix for my electronics. Had a few pieces of equipment that were unprotected. This was perfect for my situation. Best Buy to the rescue didn't have to spend a lot to get the protection I needed. You could get better one for a few more dollars @ Best But but this one was a Great fit.

No issues with this surge protector. It was simple and easy to plug in and start using right away. We have had at least one bad storm in each of the last three months since I bought the surge protector and our electricity has shut off and come on multiple times. All of the devices came back on without any issue. It seems to be doing its job - and for a great price!

I lost my power strip due to a work mix-up and needed something in stock before bedtime. I found a handful in my local store but this one labeled by Insignia (I don't know who actually makes it) was what I picked for a variety of reasons, mostly the price but just under that was the color being Black to match the nightstand. The power strip offers plenty of plugs for what I need, it has a longer cord than my old one which is a huge help, and it was at a lower price than most of the others which is a key feature for me. Only been using it for a little while now but it looks and works well, like I said the cord is long enough to be able to maneuver the power strip wherever I need it, and because it's black like my night stand it matches and camouflages in with the surroundings. The power button light isn't excessively bright either (and its green, not sure if that is a make or break for anyone but I'll leave that information here for whoever cares....I don't) so it won't keep you up if you need to keep it near your side of the bed.

WE bought 2. one's in the living room and the other's put away, but we wanted them for extra outlets as we just don't have enough in some rooms and we love the fact it has surge protection so if we're charging phones or something it won 't get zapped. the price was good too, I thought they'd cost more. I'm buy them again.

It transfers power from the outlet to the rest of the strip. It protects against surges as far as I can tell. And it has a reset switch. 5/5 stars because it does exactly what a power strip should do, and it was the cheapest one I could find.

The 6"Outlet surge protector strip is serving the purpose I purchased it for. I wish it was a bit longer. I like the price. It was cheap enough and affordable and it is working perfectly well so far.

Insignia has always been good to me and I am happy to say that this is still the case. It’s a good inexpensive power strip I’ve had it about half a year now and I’m happy to report no issues.
