Long lasting great I purchased this back in 2017 it is 2019 it still works perfectly never have no problems just have to make sure you get the papers out of the actual sweater so it doesn’t stick clean it thoroughly and last forever

I purchased this on sale and with a certificate for less than $25. If I had got it home and and it hadn't work it would not have been worth the gas to take it back. I had over 3 years worth of boxes and garbage bags of personal info and old credit cards to dispose of. I got this shredder home and shredded as much as I could to if it was durable. I shredded two garbage bags of papers and it was great. I don't recommend putting in more than 6 pieces of paper at a time. It took envelopes with slight thickness that hadn't been opened, staples and the credit cards I saved for last. It never ran hot but I had 2 jams (paper). Considering all the shredding I did I expected more problems. I'm glad I finally purchased it.

This shredder performs as well as others that are four times the cost. Shreds CD's and credit cards with ease. Specs don't indicate credit card shredding, but obviously performs that function well. Looked at others, but can't compare when considering price and size. Even if not in the market, buy this one before it is discontinued and reintroduced at a higher cost!

I shred everything and this is my 2nd shredder of this kind in 10 years. I love it. If you are a shredder like me, then purchase this one for its great, size is perfect and it last a very long time. Great price also. Get this one and you will be very happy. Thank you its the Insignia NS-PS10CC

I purchased this little shredder for my mini home office to shred sensitive documents. It's compact enough to fit under my desk, and works perfectly, no overheating, no jams. Can't beat the price either. Fantastic!

I had one of these before and it lasted me four years . Its a great shredder for the price just make sure you lubricate the cutters every once in a while which I didn't do till the end, If i did I probably would still have it, I put 5 papers but make sure you take out the staples, . I did put credit cards in but I wouldn't recommend, just to make it last longer, It shreds for a while but I think it dulls the blades,

Having this for more than a month. I can say this thing really works fantastic. I like it small and very handy to move around the house and look for a small space to fit it in. If you like small stuffs but still powerful and durable this is the right one for you. I like it also because I got it for a good deal and doesn't have to pay much having the same use. I would definitely recommend this shredder to anybody looking for a small shredder for a cheap price and that's tough to beat.

It was a good buy. It shreds several pages at a time. Does not take up a lot of space. It Is a heavy duty shredder in a small unit.

shredder is a good size easy storing, gets the job done runs for about 1 hour before overheating, I'm pleased with the product, it had a fair prize

This is not a top of the line shredder, however for the money and for what it's capable of doing it's a pretty darn good deal. It'll cut credit cards, CD's and paper without a problem. I've shredded alot of paper recently but I'll have to wait on how durable it is. My last shredder lasted 10+ years, so we will see. So far, I'm happy with it's performance.

I am giving a three-star rating ONLY because I have only been using this shredder for about a month. It performs EXACTLY as is advertised, and it was cheaper than other models. I have always been skeptical of the Insignia brand, but they seem to have stepped-up their game. The Good: Performs as advertised Didn't even blink when I shredded a credit card I like the way it sits on the waste bin, and the nifty little auto-off switch if you lift it Speaking of lifting, I really like the built-in handle for lifting Areas for improvement: The labels/icons on the top of the machine are a bit confusing The unit is noisy (but for the price, I didn't expect it to be super-quiet) As I said, this is "new-to-me," so I'll post an update in a few months, but I am satisfied after a couple of months of ownership.

Peace of mind, I work from home and do not want my garbage bag to break and have my paperwork flying around.... This little machine is effective efficient and easy to use and a fair price!! I look forward to shredding my mail, bills and all sensitive throw away items!!!

Heavy duty shredder for its size. Hasn't jammed or overheated.

We bought an Insignia shredder to replace a shredder of another brand which had broken. Our new shredder performs well and we appreciate that it was designed to alert the use when the level of shredded paper requires that it be emptied. With the old shredder, getting jammed may have caaused it to break. Shreddiing two ways is more effective too. The reasonable price was appreciated.

I purchased this shredder for my son to shred unwanted mail and labels. For the price it does a decent job. It says 6 sheets and you can put in about 5 comfortable. It's loud and slow, bur it gets the job done

Nice little machine on sale great price does the job does what it’s set up for personal in-house I wouldn’t recommend it for the office probably wouldn’t take the abuse…… recommend

Excellent Product! Shreds with ease and it is durable! No problems over heating. I def. recommend this product if you are looking for a home shredder. Beautiful design too. I'm very happy with this purchase

Having looked at several shredders to use in the home, I decided to purchase this one at Best Buy. The price is reasonable. The performance is very good for home use. I have shredded 4 - 6 pages at a time and have had no problem. I have also shredded a credit card with no difficulty.
