Piece of junk

This TV is a piece of junk. After about 1 month of use, there is a flickering on the screen that is only resolved by manually unplugging and plugging the TV back in. Also, I got the insignia soundbar to pair with this TV which has been an absolute nightmare (Optical cord didn’t work. Got a new optical cord, as recommended by geek squad. That one didn’t work. Geek squad came again and hooked up the HDMI cable. Now it works but flickers. Husband went to BBY to buy a more “premium” HDMI cable. We have yet to hook it up because we have other things to do with our time). Stay far away from this brand, & don’t be lured in by its enticing price. You def get what you pay for. Lesson learned, I will be getting a Samsung TV and Sonos soundbar this Black Friday. Never again with insignia. I feel like I just flew the spirit airlines of TVs.

Tv is nice because it has firestick built in but when trying to expand tv to larger size it does not allow it. Settings is not as easy to get to as other TVs.
It’s a great tv if you don’t need to change the size

Review: Insignia™ 65" Class F50 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV
I recently purchased the Insignia 65" Class F50 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV, and after a few weeks of use, I’m impressed with what this TV offers for its price point.
Picture Quality:
The 4K UHD resolution is sharp and vibrant, delivering clear and detailed images whether you're watching movies, sports, or gaming. The F50 Series also features Dolby Vision and HDR10 support, which significantly enhances contrast and color range, especially in dark scenes. Blacks are deeper, and colors appear more lifelike than I expected for a budget-friendly model.
Audio Performance:
The built-in speakers provide decent sound quality for everyday use. While not a replacement for a soundbar or home theater system, the DTS Studio Sound technology offers good clarity and a bit of depth. Dialogues are crisp, and there’s minimal distortion even at higher volumes.
Smart Features & Interface:
Fire TV is seamlessly integrated, and the interface is fast, intuitive, and easy to navigate. You get quick access to popular apps like Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, Disney+, and YouTube. Alexa voice control via the included voice remote is a great touch—very responsive and convenient for switching inputs, searching content, or checking the weather.
Design & Build:
The TV has a sleek, modern design with slim bezels, making it look great mounted on a wall or placed on a stand. It feels solid and well-built for the price.
Connectivity:
With multiple HDMI ports (including eARC support), USB, Ethernet, and optical audio output, connectivity is flexible enough for most home setups. Wi-Fi performance has been stable, and streaming 4K content hasn’t been an issue.
Final Verdict:
The Insignia F50 65” Fire TV is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a large-screen smart TV with 4K quality at an affordable price. It delivers solid performance, vibrant visuals, and smart features that are easy to use. While the sound could be improved with external speakers, it's a fantastic value overall.

Insignia 65-inch Fire TV: A Budget-Friendly Big Screen with Smart Features
The Insignia 65-inch Fire TV is a popular option for those seeking a large screen size and smart features at an affordable price point. It integrates the Fire TV platform, providing access to a wide array of streaming services and apps, and is generally well-regarded for its value.
Pros:
Value: A major selling point is its affordability, often being significantly cheaper than comparable TVs from major brands.
Built-in Fire TV: The integrated Fire TV platform offers access to popular streaming services like Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, and Disney+ without needing a separate streaming device.
Easy Setup: Users generally find the TV easy to set up and navigate, especially those already familiar with the Fire TV interface.
Decent Picture Quality: While not top-of-the-line, many reviewers find the picture quality to be good, especially for the price, with vibrant colors and crisp details in 4K.
Voice Control: The Alexa Voice Remote allows for easy navigation and control of the TV and smart home devices.
Good Sound Quality (for most): While some users recommend a soundbar for a more immersive experience, others find the built-in speakers to be adequate for everyday viewing.
Cons:
Potential Sound Quality Issues: Some users find the sound lacking, particularly in bass, and recommend a soundbar for a better audio experience.
Storage Limitations: Some users find the TV's storage space for apps to be limited and may need to utilize external storage options.
Occasional Glitches: A few users have reported occasional software glitches or lag.
Build Quality (for some): While the TV generally looks good, some find the build quality to be less robust than more expensive models.
Remote Issues: Some users report that the remote can be unresponsive or laggy at times.
Not Ideal for High-End Gaming: Gamers seeking high refresh rates may find the 60Hz refresh rate limiting.

ve been using the Insignia 65" 4K LED TV for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed. The picture quality is sharp and vibrant, especially for the price point. 4K content looks great, and even HD channels upscale nicely.
The built-in Fire TV is a big plus—it’s easy to navigate, and streaming apps like Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video run smoothly. The remote is simple to use and responds quickly.
Sound quality is decent for a flat-screen, but I’d recommend adding a soundbar for a better audio experience. The TV itself is lightweight and easy to mount or set up on a stand.
Overall, it’s a solid purchase for anyone looking for a large, budget-friendly 4K TV. Definitely a great deal for the features it offers!
