One of the worst purchase experiences I have had with Best Buy. I brought the freezer home and noticed a dent. I called the store on the same day before I used it and was told they could send someone to come swap out for me once the order updated in their system. I was told that I could use it in the meantime. The order did not update as picked up for three days after I had picked up. I called everyday requesting an update and was told I had to wait. Once the order finally updated, they told me I had to return it myself to the store and they would ship out a new one. I explained that I had food in it and was told they will swap it out but the support person told me that was no longer an option. I’m stuck with a damaged appliance unless I’m willing to let my food go bad and drive to the damaged one to the store while I wait for Bestbuy to ship out a new appliance. Never again.

Upon open, I noticed obvious defects - multiple dents over 10 inches long - before even using it (photo attached). This was clearly not damage caused by me. Best Buy told me my only options were to transport this heavy refrigerator back myself or pay $99 for pickup of a defective product. I contacted them the same day via chat and phone, explained a medical situation that makes moving large appliances unsafe, and repeatedly asked for escalation. No one ever followed up. If you buy large appliances here, be aware: you may receive a defective item and be left without a reasonable path to resolution. I will not shop at Best Buy again and strongly advise others to be cautious. Happy to update this review if Best Buy resolves the issue.

Light enough for two women to handle and place downstairs in the basement. Light inside very helpful as is the portable shelf. Light outside for monitoring working and also the inside controls. Instructions easy to understand. Definitely recommend!

This is an awesome little freezer. It has an internal light which is great for grabbing things at night. Plenty of room and gets nice and cold. Great value.

Bought this after moving for extra freezer space. It has been amazing! There is so much room, it was super easy to set up and got cold super quickly. No issues so far!

I've purchased multiple small chest freezers and placed them in my garage and basement. Seems more convenient and cost effective than having, moving, and finding space for one really big one. Plus IF something malfunctions, you can adjust easier with multiple small ones vs one larger one. The multiple Insignia chest freezers I have are perfect for the price, size, and functionality. I also appreciate Insignia's included warranty that allows for easy returns/exchanges at Best Buy since Insignia is Best Buy's store brand. This one is the first one I have with the light inside, and it's a simple yet super helpful feature. I originally picked this up from my local Best Buy store, and it wasn't until I got it in the basement and out of the box that I saw two large dents on the bottom. Best Buy customer service quickly arranged for the local Best Buy store to deliver a new unit and take away the old one. This was really appreciated. Freezers working perfectly.

Bought this as I needed extra freezer space. Runs very quiet and the does the job.

Easy setup ,great size, no problems with temp consistency

It is great, I am enjoying the freezer. My only complaint is that the door slams.

If you are going to have your appliances break down, before Black Friday is the "best" time to buy new ones. I had TWO backup refrigerators breaks down at the same time. One just died and the other the refrigerator didn't work but some how the freezer part was still hanging in there. My main frig is a bottom freezer where one of the fans went bad again just in the refrigerator part. I got that fixed earlier last year. With the two back up down and thinking about well I fixed the main refrigerator what if the main freezer ever goes bad in the main frig? So I got a new 18cf CR recommended Insignia refrigerator. If you get an energy star refrigerator, check your local electric company. They gave Me $75 off My electric bill for buying an energy star refrigerator. So for around $450 + delivery fee (-$75 off My electric bill) I have a garage refrigerator that's working great and a back up chest freezer just incase one of the other refrigerators goes down. The chest freezer at under $200 cost way less than buying a second backup frig and the chest freezer, I later found out, also happens to double as a refrigerator if needed - pretty cool - lol. Great cool Black Friday deals just in case your backups go down.

Works great and looks good in my garage. Just the right size for a over flow freezer.

Good small freezer which is capable of holding about 4-5 frozen whole turkeys. Just small enough to keep extra frozen food on hand but not big enough to take up a ton of room in the garage. This is a garage friendly freezer. Temperature of operation ranges from 0 degrees to 110 degrees in the garage per the product manual. So it has the correct compressor for it to operate in cold/hot conditions.

So far so good. When I purchased the freezer, I set it to the lowest freezer setting, and it worked quickly. I see a lot of people mention ice buildup, but that may be due to turning the freezer up too high. I would also recommend picking up the freezer yourself. Some delivery people don't care when it's not their purchased property.

We already have had a 10.4 CuFT Insignia for over Seven years and it has been great. We are very impressed with these. We purchased this 7 CuFT Model to have additional storage. Highly Recomended. This has a bright light to see if you put this in a dark area and it also has a basket. The light illuminates the inside of the freezer to make finding food easy

Placed a thermometer in the freezer, the temperature was spot on. Very pleased with purchase..

Really nice looking - but more importantly - very efficient. Small footprint holds a lot more than you would think! Bought this because I went hunting and brought back a lot more than I had room for in side by side refrigerator/freezer. This very much solves the problem!

I love it. It's just the right size.its just more economical saves money in the long-run. You can buy things on sale and be able to freeze them. It seems like prices go up every week especially meat so it helps when you can buy on sale and freeze

So much room. I am so surprised by how much space this has. The pictures do not do it justice. What a great addition to my kitchen. This was also on sale which made it a must buy. Love it. You will not regret buying this item.

We have been using this for about 10 days now in a commercial environment and have bad no issue. It is light and easy to move. The unit is functioning properly and easy to set up. There are not a lot of bells and whistles on this which is good in my opinion.
