At home or during my many travels it's a plus. The picture is clear and it is so light weight. And the battery is included to charge indoors or in a car. I love it.

This product was on sale for a great price. It was replacing a broken 9" portable dvd player. I have to get used to the smaller screen but the ease of use and picture clarity is fantastic.The battery lasts for more than two hours, too.I am very happy with this Dvd player.

I was looking for a portable DVD player, and this one fit the bill. I love the twirling screen so you can view it as a tablet. The DVDs play well, even when moving the device. Battery life seems good too. I've used it for 4 hours straight, once, and it was still running.

My son is pretty rough on these things and this one is holding up nicely. With the pivoting screen it can take drops a little easier. Picture is good quality and overall easy to use.

This is my second DVD player I have purchased of this kind...my grand-daughter took the first! It's compact, easy to use and has a great picture and sound! You won't be disappointed!

Honestly, I was just looking for a cheap portable dvd player my kids can watch when travelling and this performs just fine but I doubt it will last as long as the Sony we previously had which my toddler broke. Apparently Sony doesn't make these anymore and the companies that do make them do not make quality players...not sure why. I know everyone uses tablets and phones now (including my family) but I can't imagine trying to fit all these movies on those devices. It's nice to just have a dvd player handy for that. Bought 2 of these on a deal of the day because they were cheap and that is how sure I am one of them will break within a short period of time. Other than the questionable physical quality of it, it performs quite well...good picture but the sound is pretty average...could be louder and clearer...but again...you get what you pay for. I'll still recommend this player at the right price. I like the swivel screen which I use to turn the screen the other way to keep my kids from touching the buttons when they're watching it.

Bought them for my grandkids ages 3 and 5. They're easy to use, have a great picture and the kids love them! The swivel screen is a great feature, too.

This is replacing an RCA unit that I bought a year back. The quality of the Insignia is superior in every way. The other was very noisy mechanically, and this one is completely silent. The picture is crystal clear and the sound more than ample for it's use. For the price I'd say it is a great value and I recommend it. The swivel feature is also nice when the kid is laying in bed at wierd angles.

Overall I'm pleased with the dvd player. The picture quality is fairly good for the screen size,sound quality is ok-so long as you don't raise the volume to high and battery life is pretty good. On the down-side there's no remote which can be a pain at times and the controls are rather clunky and feel kind of cheap.

Picture quality is nice for the amount I paid, and the product seems to be holding up well. Comes with a car charger and a home charger, which is definitely a bonus. The only problem is the volume doesn't get too loud even when turned all the way up.

Kids enjoyed the quality of picture and battery length. They also appreciate that the battery charges while watching a dvd and it is plugged in. The old ones only charged when plugged in and not being used.

I really like this DVD player, it fits in my backpack with taking hardly any space, the screen swivels and the sound quality/volume are decent. It had a headphone jack, so there's that too. It was worth every penny (Deal of the day) $39.99

Lightweight and great picture. I bought this for my 4 year old grandson and he loves it. Great value for the price and I trust the Insignia brand. The screen swivels into a variety of positions.

I have purchased this product before. It's great for travel and wonderful for kids to use. This time I bought two as a donation gift for kids with cancer in Johns Hopkins Hospital. It's very easy to use and good quality.

I needed something to view my study materials on. Portable for library trips and something I could use at home or on the plane. The cost was more than worth it too as I grabbed it on sale. Bonus is being able to watch a dvd on our big screen TV with the family!

We bought this DVD player for use on a short trip. It worked well in the car and in the hotel room. The battery will last a couple of hours. Sound and picture are good.

This was a gift to someone, but I've seen it in use and it holds a charge for a decent amount of time, picture looks fine, and the swivel screen is a nice addition that many DVD players at this price point don't have.
