My IT department suggested connecting via Ethernet cable. My house is a bi-level with my modem/router in my lower level family room and home office upstairs. This long cable enables me to run the cable along the baseboard and upstairs to my office. Eventually, I will have it to where the cable is routed through the ceiling/floor to “hide” it better but for now, the color makes it easier to blend in with carpet as it runs along the baseboard. My speeds are fantastic, often over 200 MPs! Very happy!

My MAC wasn't getting a good picture out while using Skype. As soon as I replaced the ethernet cable with a newer one from Best Buy everything cleared up and I began getting faster responses. The cable worked really good for me. now I want to replace more "older' cables with newer ones. The GEEK Squad was very helpful in briefing me about the differences between old vs new cables.

Highly recommend the Cat-6 cable!

What a difference between wi-fi and a direct ethernet connection. I would say everyone should use a direct network hook up for maximum audio and video performance.
