I replace the compact cfl bulb in my garage and I can see better in the dark. It has a very strong white light and it consumes a little less amount of energy compared to the cfl bulbs. It delays one or two second to light up.

My husband and I were intrigued with the idea that we could buy a lightbulb once and most likely never have to change it. Unfortunately, we can't review this item based on longevity. This lightbulb claims to last for 20+ years. I bought the Insignia lightbulbs over other LED brand because of their warranty. Most LED bulbs are only warranted for 2-5 years - the Isignia is warranted for 10 years. I feel that if the bulb lasts less than 10 years, hopefully I can get it replaced and I will get my money's worth. The light is bright and works as it's supposed to.

I have had this bulb for about a month now and I pretty much have my floor lamp on for most of the day as my room is pretty dark otherwise - still running strong and BRIGHT. For $10 you can't go wrong, I've spent more on "energy efficient" bulbs but does not compare to the brightness and longevity to this one. I highly recommend it.

I bought a bunch of these on sale after Christmas. Comparing them to other Led bulbs I have purchased in the past, they are great quality and very reasonable.

Works great. Doesn't take a long time to get to full strength like other bulbs. Bright but not too overpowering. I have no complaints.

The Insignia - 800-Lumen, 10.5W A19 LED Light Bulb looks well-built, lights up instantly and the warm white color is comfort too. A good buy for the money. Beware it is not dimmable.

I bought these on sale after Christmas. They work great

we just had an electricity area outage and the whole area was put on generator... so the voltage was running lower than normal. None of the old fashioned light bulbs would work properly and the big light in the kitchen I had to turn off because the flickering was driving me nuts. we were really confused about what was happening because the fridge was off, and the ups-s were all reporting power outage, but the place was lit up like a summer day from the led bulbs. so we like them because they are bright enough and don't put out heat and amazingly enough work with unfortunate power supply.

Bright nice even light instant on. I'm very pleased

Needed a brighter light for our kitchen, regular bulbs weren't bright enough, tried this one - MUCH brighter, but with an annoying hum. Seems to be getting quieter as time goes on though. Staying just as bright and that was the object! Very cheap too. Worth the cost for the hum.

Hope fully this bulb lasts awhile but the light it gives is certainly good enough if not better than a regular light bulb.

LED light bulb is very bright. Uses less power and lasts longer. What's not to like!

Turns right on and to the maximum brightness, not like other non-LED energy saving bulbs which take time to warm up and get to their maximum lumens.

Good strong light that is energy efficient as well as lasting a longtime.

I bought five to place on the chandelier above the dining room table. The brightness of all five is amazing, and I can't believe the wattage is less than 1 bulb that I used previously. Recommend purchasing online though, as the price is $8-9 cheaper than going into the store.

i have two of these setup in darker areas of the house. Give off way more light than a regular 60 watt bulb at only a fraction of the operating cost. The light takes a split second to turn on but it's instant unlike those CFLs where there is a "warming" period.

The bulb has a nice color tone. Cool to the touch. The nice thing with this bulb, is when you turn on the switch, the bulb lights up right away. Unlike the cheap led bulbs. Perfect brightness too!

This is a nice light at a good price. Bright. Says 60 Watt equivalent, but its more like 65 - 70. Maybe even too bright depending on your application. Great for the kitchen. If you don't need a dimmable light, then this is a good one to use.

This one looks great. My daughter prefer it than other LED light bulbs purchased from Bestbuy. This one also consume less energy than the other 60W equivalent LED light bulbs. There's no buzz when connected to regular switch. Too bad it's not compatible with dim-able switch.
