I run a 1440p 300Hz monitor through this on my MacBook Pro with no issues. Works as intended, no connection issues, etc. Use a high quality cable up to spec with it, of course. Sometimes can be a little finicky if you're moving it around so that's why four stars instead of five.

Great quality item. Worked great to connect usb c on laptop to monitor in HDR. In store help was really great with finding this in store on shelf and knowing right where to look for it. This item is worth it and works great.

Works for 240HZ 4K HDR10

Works for exactly what I need it for. Using AMD FreeSync on my Asus s16 running AMD FreeSync Pro+ (or whatever you call it) on my Samsung G80SD running full 240 hz at 4K. Of course grab the correct display port cable to go with it, but this thing is a beast. 100% recommend

Superior build quality, although heavy

works as described but was not the correct connection i needed to maximize my laptops discrete GPU. The dongle was a bit heavy to be hanging from my laptops port though/

helped with black screen

i was using just a hdmi cable from my hp victus laptop to my samsung 49 inch monitor and was getting a black screen. this worked great in not getting the black screen

It’s great, however it can be finicky. This means, as long as it’s stationary you’ll have no problem, but if you touch it while it’s displaying an image, you might get a screen tear or two, but it’s very brief

I needed one of these to take advantage of a USB-C port on a mini-PC. This adapter allowed me to run an extra monitor, GEEKCOM mini-PC in case somebody else runs into a similar need.
