This really is the best microwave ever. It’s powerful enough to get the job done, yet small enough to not take up too much counter space. The design of the door is genius. No button on the front to push and have the door fly open. Just put your hand on the handle, lift the latch, and open the door. It’s also nice that the child lock feature can be disabled. There are no children or idiots in my house. Buy this microwave. You will love it!

This microwave does the trick. It's compact, works well and is priced right. Like others have said, I don't necessarily like the button at the top of the handle which is required to open the door, but you will get used to it.

Was in need of a small, sleek, modern microwave and this was exactly what we were looking for! Love the extra knob on the handle to open it and it leave so much room for other things we need on the counter. Highly recommend!

This microwave not only looks good with the black and steel that matched my kitchen perfectly but it also works great. It’s a space saver so I was concerned that it wouldn’t be as big but it’s the same size as my last microwave but fits better and looks great on the counter. I would recommend this.

This is a perfectly fine microwave. Nothing exceptional - it does what a microwave is supposed to do and it comes in a nice compact footprint. It also looks decent. But we returned it because it has a large plug. Why Insignia didn't use a right angel plug is just bad design. Not only is the large plug an eye sore it is slightly inconvenient when you use the other part of the outlet a lot for other things - you have to go around the microwave plug. Very disappointing design flaw - it would have taken nothing to use a 90 degree plug. Otherwise it was fine, and we would have kept it.

I like this little microwave. It suits our needs perfectly. We use it mainly to defrost, heat up left overs and popcorn. It's pretty and doesn't take up a lot of counter space. I would recommend it.

Bought this microwave about a month ago and I've used it daily since. It works great! Perfect size not bulky.

I needed a microwave to replace the ancient one I've had for years. This does the trick. It's not too big or too small but the wattage makes heating food up a breeze. Powerful, digital display, easy to set up, compact but still able to do the big jobs. Love it.

This little microwave is a work horse. I needed something more compact but still powerful. The biggest bowl I ever put in a microwave fits. A size bag of popcorn gets hung up and stops spinning with the turntable as it cooks, but it has not seemed to affect the cooking of the kernels. I am very happy with this unit--especially for the price.

So far so good with excellent reviews and some of them not doing justice to this small microwave. One bad review i saw was that the display was dim and that is FALSE. This have a bright display and normal microwave sound

I have a small kitchen. This is the perfect size. So far it works like I would expect it to.

So far, the microwave is working out. Purchased for granddaughter's apartment for last year of graduate school out of state. The smaller 1.9 cu fits perfectly in the kitchen area, heats the food well, and looks very nice with the stainless steel finish. Also, it's light enough in weight, if she needs to lift or move it. Also, there are a lot of pre-set cooking functions on the well lit panel. She is very pleased with it.

We bought the microwave for a family member who was having a total kitchen remodel. They could not use any of their appliances that were existing. It really helped them get through the construction of the kitchen.

I researched several models before deciding on Insignia. When downsizing to a smaller home, I focused on style and size. This compact model covered all of my needs. The best feature is the light on the clock, provides a soft warm night light for the kitchen. I had a weekend guest, that commented of the light when they got a drink in the middle of the night. Unaware of the location of the light switch, my guest had no problems getting a late night drink form the fridge. Unexpected bonus!!! Thank you. Marilkyn Jolly

This is a great microwave. It was the perfect size to put on time of my mini fridge. I bought it for my office at work. Heats great! No issues.
