I have to reset the phone every time to get it to charge again. Apple has implanted a chip in its charging cables. Look for an apple certified charging sync cable if using on an iPhone.

When I opened the package, it looked like an old, very used cord...no where near in “excellent” condition. Had to make an unexpected trip to return it two days before Christmas because it was for my grandson. Will be writing to Corporate.
