Good thing I was home and I didn't burn my house down. Don't ever buy rocket fish product. I recommend buying insignia iphone 5 charger for a better price and better quality. No worrys of Fire hazards!

Price is also feasible. Quality of cord is thicker than Apple's and seems to be more durable. One major issue is the size of the plug "body" that goes into the phone.....THIS CHARGER WILL NOT WORK WITH LIFEPROOF PHONE CASES...... As the plug "body" that goes into the phone is too large to fit thru the port in the case for IPhone 6 or 6 PLUS. Gave this to my son, because it will work with iPhone 5 LIFEPROOF cases.
