Need Help finding the driver to make it work? If this information was a little better available on their website, it would have gotten 5stars... Easy plug and play! Which turned out to be true. It plugged in easy. I then spent hours playing around getting it to work. And here is how I did it. I'm posting this because I never did find the answer here. After you have plugged it in, let Windows 10 find it, then restarted your machine. Only to find out no drivers were installed. Do this. Open Windows Update. Click View Optional Updates. Then Click Driver Updates. This Insignia adapter is evidently made by Broadcom. Find the line about Broadcom Bluetooth and click that to install. A restart may be needed. And there it is. It's working for me. Hope it will for you too.

I upgraded my PC to Windows 10 (10 years old, but hardware is powerful!) and I am unable to use my built-in Bluetooth hardware (outdated), so I bought this. Great price, easy setup, low profile and works seamlessly. Also, I can connect multiple devices!.

Plug and play. Used with a Windows 7 operating system without issue. Took a little while to install drivers.

This is a well priced USB Bluetooth adapter. I plugged it into my Windows 10 PC and connected up my wireless earbuds in just a few minutes. It's easy to use and install and the small form factor gives it a low profile sticking out from the computer.

This item works exactly as it's supposed to. My laptop now has bluetooth and the set up was easy and quick. This is an inexpensive way to make your laptop bluetooth able compared to buying a new laptop. I can now hook up my wireless speakers when I'm watching a movie on my laptop.

Works well....but only within limited distance as far as I’ve tried. That’s a bit of a knock because unless it’s meant for you to be sitting at a computer desk with your pc right there, or within a short distance away from it, don’t expect to be across the room and have unbroken signal strength with your connected Bluetooth peripherals.

I purchased this adapter for my PS4 controller. Works good. Just wish it had a little more range but for the price it’s good. Had never had no connections issues and have had this adapter for about 1 month. Definitely recommend.

My PC lacked Bluetooth capability. Best Buy solved the issue with this Insignia adapter. Not just a great price but it works very well. W10 recognized the adapter and downloaded the software in minutes. It's a terrific deal if you want to upgrade your W10 PC to Bluetooth. .

My main reason for purchase was to use Bluetooth headphones with Zoom meetings for work. Tested connections to the following items: Samsung Galaxy s10+, galaxy buds, Jabra 65t, Beast Studio 3. Tried multiple USB 3.0, 3.1, including my DAC-UP ports which should be an even cleaner output. The good Low profile dongle. Setup was a breeze and windows 10 detected/installed it right away. It's paired effortlessly with each device I've connected. Works from any point in my office and in to the hallway. The less than good Audio quality is hit or miss and seems to be susceptible to minor interference even 5 feet away. Similar experiences using all the Bluetooth headphones listed above. Range is less than ideal. Using the same headphones paired to my phone I can leave my phone on my desk and walk in to any room upstairs without loss of audio. Paired with this device they get pretty shaky around 15 feet. All in all a decent buy for basic connectivity but don't expect perfection.

Pretty good bluetooth dongle. No problems so far, everything I have is connecting flawlessly. However, it is pretty short range. If you have it on a PC, make sure its on a USB port towards the front and not the back so you can have a secure connection. I had it on the back in the beginning and my devices kept disconnecting and reconnecting but once I moved it to the front its been great!

This device is a perfect add on for a PC with out Bluetooth. Gave my desktop the ability to do what modern Bluetooth devices should do. Streams music to my LG Tone Studio perfectly. Plug and play. No hassle and well worth the price.

My laptop didn’t have Bluetooth and when I bought Bluetooth earbuds I knew I had to find a fix. This device saved me and I use it almost every single day. Easy use and small so it’s not too noticeable. Had to put some electrical tape over the bright blue light but other than that it’s great

Is extremely simple to setup and use. Literally just plug it in, let Windows 10 detect and auto configure it and you're good to go. I plugged it into one of the front USB ports on my PC to get the best reception (my PC is tucked under my computer desk and I have USB ports on both the back and front of my PC). I like the fact that it's very small and unobtrusive, yet the flared-out tip makes it easy enough for me to grab when I need to temporarily remove it. BTW, I'm using this with my Xbox One controller and it's working fine, no problems.

Today freedom from wires makes connecting to a PC desirable. If your PC does not allow Bluetooth connectivity, a Bluetooth Adapter is a cheap way to achieve a Bluetooth connection. Most headphones rely on Bluetooth to connect to a smart phone or a PC. The Bluetooth Dongle plugs in to a USB port on a PC. Once this is done, Bluetooth pairing can be achieved allowing a Bluetooth connection for a device that did not previously have Bluetooth capability. This adapter makes Bluetooth connectivity an easy task and the adapter (or dongle) can be purchased for under $25 including tax.

My daughter and I got new laptops last year that weren't equipped with bluetooth. I bought us bt dongles on line (a different, cheaper, brand) but they wouldn't connect to our iHome speakers. Mine actually fell apart. Since Insignia is a brand I trust, I got one to replace it. I was so happy that it connected with my speaker that I bought my daughter one days later. They are easy to use since they are plug n play, and work great. Since they are reasonably priced, I'm sorry I didn't buy it originally. Trying to save a couple bucks actually cost me more.

A lot of reviews say that they cannot get it to work. It's really as simple as going into windows update and security, going to additional or optional updates for drives, and updating the driver that way. No need to go to insignia. After the update, the computer will know it has Bluetooth and you can add whatever Bluetooth device you need to!

Bluetooth adapter was perfect solution for our conference room tv which was not bluetooth enabled. We can now connect multiple wireless devices to the TV. We use with a remote slide controller, for remote speaker phone and to attach the TV as a monitor to other mobile devices. Great enhancement for low cost point. Its reliable and easy to connect

Bought this for my home PC since I move around a lot. Works great on Ubuntu / Linux as others have mentioned. Plug it in and ready to go. No issues with my Logitech G604 mouse. Please buy from Bestbuy instead of Amazon. You can pick it up same day and this is cheaper than most options available. I think I paid less than $8. For those of you with no mouse - WIN/SUPER + S -> type in "bluetooth" -> enter -> use tab/shift + tab /enter to pair your bluetooth mouse.

Plug and play with Windows 10 Pro, this was purchased for a Bluetooth solution pertaining to the Windows Mixed Reality Headset by Samsung. For this solution, the recommended interface is USB 2.0 with a USB extension to provide line of sight to the MR headset’s wireless controllers.

It worked and is good choice for cheap and easy connections.
