I had right before I purchase my pencil that a lot of people lost their pencil the first day, so, before I left the store, there was one cap protector hanging in the bin so I grabbed it. It is just a silicone covering which I placed over the cap before I took it off to charge it. The cap lies securely now in the Protector so I will never lose it. it is a great investment to secure your Apple Cap.

Must have for the Apple Pencil. Easy slip on feature that secures your cap to the pencil. Peace of mind too!

I like the fact that it keeps my cap from getting lost. It’s easy to remove from the pencil when I need to take it off. It adds a bit of bulk to the top of the pencil but it does what I need it to do which is keep the cap since I lost it a couple of times before. Great buy I recommend it to anyone that has this pencil I also like that it has a keeper for the charging adapter that’s a plus

We bought few Magic Pens for our Grand Children along with iPads. Children are not careful with these expensive Magic Pen and they were leaving it every where. With these Pen Covers we are really protecting these Magic Pens from damaging. Magic Pens are expensive and Children enjoys drawing on their iPad. These Caps are very cheap and durable and protects these expensive product.

Love this item. It’s very handy as it helps retain the Apple Pencil 1st generation cap. The cap is held on magnetically but at times can disconnect, the silicone cover helps keep it attached even as you charge the Apple Pencil. I caught a great deal as I purchased it on sale which is an even greater value for the money.

This is one of those products that you didn't know you needed it until you have it. It is quite handy to use on the iPad. I'm not sure if it works with my iPhone but I doubt it. Regardless, I would recommend this product.

Keeps my apple pencil lid in place, and also makes sure I don't lose the charging connector.

The cap keeper is a great idea if you are pulling your iPad w/attached pencil in and out of a bag or briefcase. The magnet works at holding the cap on but catching the edge can sometimes dislodge it. The keeper keeps the cap from being lost. The only draw back is that the rubber ring that holds it on will slide upward and does become loose with use. I'd still recommend and would probably replace when mine is to loose to keep the cap secure.

If you have the 1st Gen Pencil (and why else would you be reading this review?!), then this simple, rubbery cap solves one of the biggest issues - how not to lose the cap when charging...or fidgeting. The keeps the cap firmly attached to the pencil so you won't fund yourself walking around with an exposed lightning port. A must if you have the first gen Pencil.

Ok..if you have an Apple Pencil you know how easily the cap can come off and the charging piece can break off…if you don’t have one…take note! Definitely worth the small price for huge piece of mind. In my opinion, this cap is a must and…the pencil still fits in the case with it on!

This is definitely a plus because it keeps your pencil cap safely on the pencil. It won't let the cap fall off the pencil since the cap is so small. It fits on the pencil perfectly. It slides over the pencil and the cap. The cap can be removed off the pencil but stays [dangling] connected to the pencil. Also, it has an added feature as being a stylus as well for your iPad.

Got this because my Apple Pencil cap actually cracked. The description on this item was a little confusing/misleading, imo. Wasn’t 100% sure if it came with a replacement cap or just the holder piece. No replacement cap included. Oh well, it does what I needed it to do...hold my busted cap together until I can find a new 1 somewhere.

The major initial complaint of the Apple Pencil was the loss of the unattached top. I couldn't believe almost no one else sells this cap. It fits perfectly over the cap and the rings stays secure to the handle with its no-slip grip. Mine hasn't failed me yet and I'm going to purchase a couple more just for emergency backup.

I would not recommend this product without trying it on with your iPad case. My case has a slot for the pencil, and the pencil with the cap holder does not fit in my case. I wish the design was more slim so that it would fit the case. Other than that, it fit the pencil nice and snug and seems like a good option for those of us who habitually misplace the cap.

Apple is good at design... but the pencil cap is a fail. This little solution saves the day. I don't have to worry about losing my cap or the adapter which also gets a teather to the charge cable. My only concern is the strength of the material. Is feels soft like silicon and fragile... but I have used it for a month now, and it hasn't broke yet. So maybe it's stronger that is feels.
