I cut the original cable and used this to join it in a LB that fed the workshop from my home. i filled it full of die-electric grease before inserting both ends and sealed the LB. Does exactly as its designed and fint in a 3/4" LB finely.

Instead of buying an expensive long ethernet cable, I bought this and a cheap (short) ethernet cable. Works great and havent lost any speed from my gigabit internet.
