A good smaller footprint desk which I was looking for. It took about 2 hours to put together.

Bought this as a writing desk, simple, elegant, minimalistic. And getting it on sale - couldnt ask for more

Would havw loves this more if mine actually had pre drilled holes in rhe desk too peice like the directions point out.

Looked great online but once picked it up and actually looked at the size of the desk, realized it wasn't going to work. Great for a small size office area if needed.

I would give it a 0 star. The desk surface started peeling the day I put it together. It was a gift and when opened, it fell out of the exchange window. So I'm stuck with a desk that the surface is peeling. The drawer also doesn't slide very well. It is "sticky".

I REALLY like the design and build of this desk! This is a nice piece of entry-level office furniture. It is excellent for anyone - especially students and kids - who need a dedicated workspace that isn't bulky and heavy and doesn't want to spend too much. The wood print is beautiful, and there is a drawer to keep things neatly tucked away and hidden while also utilizing the two outside areas next to the drawer as "cubbies" for additional storage. The desk is composed of particle board except for the metal legs, handle, and brace, so if you know anything about furniture, KEEP AWAY FROM LIQUIDS AND MOISTURE, or it will suffer deformities. Once completed, everything felt nice and tight. Very solid and I recommend using a power tool with a T25 bit to save LOTS of time. A few spare parts in case you lose something is also a plus. Unpacking to entirely built took me around 1 hour with a few distractions from the kids in between and my power drill. I liked the cable management system built into the back of the desk, complete with an opening for cables to pass through. Overall, it was easy to construct with clear instructions, but sometimes I wish screws were labeled better in pictures. With some time, you can build a very nice desk that seamlessly blends into modern and contemporary styles. The only downfall here is the particle board construction, but you get what you pay for. To hit this price point, you must be buying pressboard. Look at it and see how it works in your home. I can definitely recommend this desk to anyone looking for something different.

This Insignia Computer Desk is right at home for a budget minded person, college student, or someone looking to quickly turn a spare bedroom into a productive space. This computer desk is not for someone with champagne taste, an elaborate home office, or a place of business. Overall, this is an inexpensive desk. It is made of inexpensive materials, it feels inexpensive, and its construction is simple. But with this price point, it will give you your monies worth. Assembling this desk is fairly simple. The only real tool you will need is a screwdriver. Most of the panels and hardware are labeled and the instructions are fairly straight forward, however I did find a couple directional panels reversed from what they should have been in the directions and one of the medal legs did not have the hold completely drilled out and had to be fixed. But still minor inconveniences that were easy to remedy. If you can put together a puzzle, you can put this desk together. Once together, the desk is fairly sturdy. I probably wouldn't try and use it as a step stool or a chair, but it will hold your printer and computer. The surface scratches VERY easily. And the drawer slides are clunky. But the desk is very functional. My favorite feature of this desk is a small area on the backside of the desk that is PERFECT for placing a power strip out of side to connect all of your electronics to, making wire management a breeze! whoever though of this cubby style area deserves a raise. However if you really want to make this desk perform its best, go to your hardware store and replace the drawer slides. They come as ball bearing slides, but they are definitely the shortfall. Overall, this is an inexpensive desk that will serve its purpose. If you are going to school, living in a small apartment, or just need a small work area, this may be your desk. If you are looking for something on the nicer side, I would probably look elsewhere.
