Customers are saying

Customers regard the Go Case for Nintendo Switch as providing decent protection and sufficient storage for the console and games. However, a common concern is that the case is too large, leading to a loose fit and inadequate security for the Switch. Other criticisms include the quality of the case materials and the effectiveness of the straps in securing the device. Some customers felt the price was not competitive with other options available.

    Better then Nothing

The case seems decently sturdy from the outside. It would most likely protect against short falls, and bumping against other objects in your bag, but not against someone sitting on it. There is a pouch on the top for misc accessories, where I keep two extra joycons. There is a lightly padded flap with elastic to hold 6 games. The compartment for the switch it self is where the major flaws are in this product. There is zero padding for the switch, and the space is too big by about one inch so it moves around while inside. The only thing securing the switch are two rough elastic straps which go directly over the screen. I always wrap my switch in a microfiber cloth before using this case to prevent the straps from scratching the screen. Overall this product will get the job done if you're in a pinch and this is your only option. However if you have a choice I would NOT recommend this case.

I can safely travel with my Switch. I just put my switch inside of this case and I am good to go. I travel a lot so I just place this case in my backpack and go. Switch made it to my destination no problem. I recommend leaving the joy cons attached.

Terrible fit, way too much room around the Switch

I picked up the Insignia case for my Nintendo Switch as I plan on taking it to work with me each day to play on breaks and for when I travel. The case is very poorly designed. There's TONS of extra space around the Switch when it's in the case, and the elastic straps are VERY loose. The Switch ends up sliding all around inside the case, making the screen prone to scratching and the Joy-Con analog sticks may get damaged. The case is absolutely terrible. The "storage compartment" is also very loose and stuff falls out of it. The zipper is stiff and I already had it binding on me within the first day of use. I simply can't think of how they could have missed the mark any more than they did. Avoid this one!

There's no real padding inside to protect the Switch if the case is dropped and although the strips hold the switch down, it can move about still pretty freely. Looking back I think I should have bought the official case and I do believe that they stopped producing this particular style because of all the negative reviews the company received for this sloppy design.

This case is not very accurately sized. It is too long (about the size of another Joy-Con controller). This would probably cause the Switch to move around unnecessarily in the case. I returned the item and got the official Nintendo case instead. I gave two stars, because it will likely still protect your console better than no case at all.

Its a case, it was a available, so i bought it. It protects the switch but it is also kind of a pain. The straps on the inside always catch the joysticks no matter which sode you put it on. Also it is bulky. Like twice as thick as it needs to be. Does the job though so far at least. Its not cool looking or anything just a case

A little awkward to pull the console in/out

It's a good case, and sufficient for what I need, especially because most of my games are digital. The only complaint I have is that it's a little difficult to get the console in/out of the elastic bands that are there to hold it in place. The case is nice and roomy, however, and will hold an extra pair of Joy-cons if you want.

Decent case, really hate that it says insignia in large letters on it. Would have spent $3.00 more for something that says Nintendo on it or has a Nintendo related theme, but they were all sold out.

This case is much too large. The Nintendo Switch will slide around and get banged up inside this thing. The straps don't hold the unit at all. Do not get this item.

This case is pretty good. It thought the Switch would fit in it a little better than it does. There is some extra room in the case, so I get worried it won't protect my Switch as much as I want it to.

I think this case was designed before the manufacturer got their hands on an actual Switch, because the case is unnecessarily large for the System+JoyCon. There's plenty of space all around the system when you use this case, and that worries me. I don't want my handheld jostling around inside a protective case. I'd recommend you look elsewhere.

I purchased this case on Nintendo Switch launch night as it was the only case available. It feels very flimsy, the interior straps are also a hassle and I feel they offer little in security or protection. The pouch for cables is nice, however, and is large enough to fit the JoyCon Straps and a charging cable.

Not really worth the money. It holds the switch, but not very tightly. There's just enough room in the one other pocket that makes you think that there's space for accessories, but there really isn't. Not terrible, just meh.

This is durable, spacious enough to fit console, games and extra remotes. It does exactly what it's meant to do.
