The case is good for carrying some games with you. I don't mind the extra size because I can fit my charger. Buy the official if you want more protection, but the extra size is nice for the charger.

I am a little disappointed by how tight the fit is when you load it up, and the case has very little room for anything other than the Switch and a few cartridges - it meant that cables and such had to go in the backpack loose, but they aren't as breakable as the Switch itself. That said - it's a case. It holds a Switch and a few games. Perfect for tossing in your backpack or bag.

It also have padding that protect the Switch. More importantly, got this when it was on sale so it definitely value for the money.

I don't know why I bought it, my kid doesn't use it. In theory he will set down his switch and this would be a good place to set it. I'm sure it will happen one day

We own a much sturdier case for longer trips that require packing. However, if you are taking a short road trip and just need the Switch without the base this is the way to go.

It works beautifully. I could not find a TomTom case anywhere and had looked at several different stores for a couple of weeks.
