Caae broke after 3 weeks. Captures fingerprints very easliy. Save your money!

I didn't know what to expect when it comes to hard cases. Often time they're a bit too plasticky for me and feels like it's going to crack after a few uses. I didn't get that feeling when installing this Insignia case though. You would never know it's an Insignia hardshell case actually. Not to say the brand isn't superb from prior experience, but it's not a high tier name brand you know? Where you usually pay more for something that shouldn't be that costly. This however is completely fair. The price point for quality and use is superb, and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a hardshell case for their macbook pro. There's not much to say really because there's nothing wrong with it in my view. It's easy to install, no instructions needed. It's really intuitive, and you place it on and can be more worry free with scratches. Of course, with this on, it doesn't look as sleek. You can clearly see that the hardshell case is on as it's not completely transparent, but that's usually the price you pay for protection.

The case shows many fingerprint smudges and cracked with normal use.

This is a well made case that fits perfectly. This case out of the box and then fitted to my laptop did not take more than a few minutes. I really like that it fits well and I was concerned about the addition of it but it didn't make it feel any different. I like the added protection I didn't have prior. I would purchase one again when I update my laptop.

Look if you buy this case your buying it to get some protection for your expensive product, that come with a trade off for thinness and weight but to me well worth it. The cas dis nice, clear and adds just enough protection without adding too much bulk or getting in the way of the product’s functionality. 5 stars.

I love how light weight, non obstructive, and being transparent it is. I have one gripe about it. The material used, smudges easy. The case cleans easy, but it tends to get smudges much easier than the aluminum but less easy than the display.

Easy, no complicated instructions. Love that. Also I really appreciate that it is a plain case. No pattern or colors. It's not completely see through plastic, sort of a see through milky white it that makes sense. Just what I wanted, protection for the Mac without distraction.

The Insignia case for my MacBook Pro 14 works, but it’s not what I expected. My new MacBook Pro has a really nice finish, which I wanted to protect. The frosted finish on this case somewhat takes away from that appearance. The case collects fingerprint oils and leaves fingerprint stains on the case, which does not look good at all. I’ll be using my MacBook without this case.

I was looking forward to getting this case for my new Macbook, because I wanted it to be protected. After having it for less than two months, it's not worth the money. Your fingerprints show up on the case from the oils on your hand, and it is very hard to wipe them away. In addition, I've already had one cracked corner of the case, and that was just from putting it back on after cleaning it. I don't believe this is a $30 product.

It doesn't fit very well. It slips off. Maybe the wrong size, but I don't think so.
