I am seeing tiny cracks in the corner, but I think they were caused by me. It's not the most durable case in the world, but at the very least, it will protect the laptop from scratches. The finish is a little strange and attracts fingerprints - but again, not a deal-breaker. I found this case heavily discounted on clearance, and would recommend giving it a shot especially if you find it on sale.

Less bulkier than older laptop models from with bigger screen size. The resolution is sharp. The OS is faster.

The case was not super easy to install even though it was the “correct” one. The case started cracked within a month with gentle use and never dropped.

Cracks and smudges easily

However It didn't take long for the negatives to outweigh the positives about the case. Greasy smudges show up simply from touching the case and don't wipe off. The corners started to show cracks simply from lifting the lid from the corner. Small creaks showed up at the hinge points on the top of the case within the first couple weeks.

Sturdy and Decent Case

It covers most of the corners and prevents the screen from hitting the keyboard in case there is something on the keyboard that would hit the screen. I do like that the feet are able to allow you to move the computer around but are slightly sticky. Good place on the bottom for ventilation. My biggest complaint is that the finish of the case is very easily prone to strange stains or smudges if you touch it too much. The top also isn't smooth, it's like the paint had dust in it when it got sprayed onto the case. Other than that, it's a great case and will do well to protect your laptop from general bumps and scratches.
