I originally wanted to buy a complete cable assembly. I asked a Best Buy associate for his advice and he explained that all I needed was this short adapter. Saved me money and time!

My last computer crashed, needed to have access to a Projector without HDMI hookup. My last computer had the VGA, and new one does not. This worked well, no issues at all.

HDMI to HDMI cable would not work from my monitor to my computer. Since my monitor had a VGA outlet the VGA to HDMI Adapter has worked great and allowed for dual monitors with my PC.
