We just ran out of patience to deal with trying to endure the ordeal going for a 4th (all within warranty period). We extracted the ice maker and bought a counter-top unit that actually produces ice like one would expect from an ice maker. Only reason for 2-star rating on value (rather than 1) was that we only wasted $69.95. Please avoid this unit.
