    Working Great do far!!

    Purchased this to add ice making functionality to my Insignia fridge. This is the first time I completed such an installation. In my opinion the installation was pretty straightforward and relatively easy. After installation and the connection to the water line I turned it on and it went straight to work. It took about two days to fill the ice storage bin and we have more ice now than my family needs. Just open the freezer, use a scoop to get the ice you need. If you have a cooler, easily pull out the bin out of the freezer and dump up to 5.5 lbs of ice in. Put the bin back in the freezer and it is ready to be automatically refilled. For the price it has been a great value and will probably pay for itself in no time as I no longer need to buy ice for family gatherings, hockey "Beer League" duty or filling the cooler. The automated ice making provides alot of convience. Very happy with this purchase so far.

    Was very disappointed

    I got this and it worked well in the beginning but did not last even a year. I had to exchange it which was very easy hence the 3 star. That being said the 2nd one did not even last a couple of months. I decided to get a counter top sonic style ice machine.

    Works well, the fit…not so much

    For some reason, the one area sticks out of the back of the refrigerator and is not flush. I purchased the exact model that fits my fridge, but does not fit exactly. It was installed by a professional, so it’s not a user issue. It works fine, but looks like it’s not the right fit.
