    Bought this to connect a second monitor to my iMac. As the iMac doesn't have HDMI connections, this was a alternative to doing without. As of this day I'm still awaiting the arrival of my monitor that's been delayed due to perhaps the COVID-19 virus.

    This dongle worked perfectly out of the box. It allows me to interface my MacBook Pro easily with my new Dell monitor. Don't hesitate to pick this up. It works as well or better than an Apple dongle.

    We bought this to use our macbook with a monitor, and it works great for that. I don't know if it's an apple problem or this device, but when we use it to try to connect our macbook to our TV, the signal keeps coming in and out and it's not consistent with relaying the audio signal either.
