So we needed to use a tv, but my laptop didn’t have an hdmi port. This saved us from have 5 people sitting around my little laptop for training.

I was able to bring my parents up to speed with Hulu & Netflix streaming marrying their Apple computer to their somewhat antiquated TV using this adapter! AND cancelling their cable! Win Win
