I purchased this product because my last cord ended up splitting at the end. Fortunate enough I found this cord for half the price and the material that covers the wiring is still intact.

It did its job but the image is still as good if you just used a HDMI cord. So don't buy if u already have a HDMI plug.

This item works flawlessly with any Mac laptop computer to view video on YouTube. Also I was to shut down my Mac laptop Pro from viewing on my flatscreen tv. Finally the price is very reasonable for this item

Works well. Use it on vacation all the time. Works w any hdmi cable. You need headphone six cable for sound. If the TV doesn't have one you can always just listen w the computers speakers or Bluetooth speakers.

You need the right cables when trying to make all things work correctly. This connector allowed for a clean Mac to HD TV installation!

This is exactly what I needed to display my laptop while onsite with a customer. Their video equipment had HDMI and my laptop had VGA. This dongle allowed the 2 to talk and worked like a charm.

I plugged my insignia adapter to my apple laptop to my new 26 computer monitor and it was that easy. The adapter is very well made, would definitely recommend to others.

The TV is in one room, the computer and hard drive is in another. I needed this to connect a 20 foot HDMI cable to the big screen and it worked fine. No degradation in picture quality at all.

It does work but it gets flaky on an older Surface Book vs a newer Surface Book. I went with a Belkin with 4K support and it works fine with both laptops. I would recommend this for newer laptops.

I have had three off brand versions of this product, but purchased an Insignia one recently due to availability. They always seem to stop working after a year or 2 of use. We will see how long the Insignia one lasts. I use it to connect my MacBook pro to my 2 Insignia tvs.

Good build quality, which is especially comforting because there were really no competing products (In the price range) it's nice to know insignia doesn't cut corners even when they could get away with it.

I bought one of this things apple brand at the apple store and this one was half the price and works better.

What I was looking for, works great. It does get a little warm, not enough to not to use it.
