Sometimes inexpensive items cost a lot, because they don’t do what you bought them for. I was concerned that this adapter would have problems (like no audio). But it performs great. I never give 5 star reviews because there is always room for improvement.

Purchased to run dual-monitor configuration with my MacBook Pro - have had it hooked up in that configuration for many months now with no problems, even though I connect and disconnect every day.

Works well. Use it on vacation all the time. Works w any hdmi cable. You need headphone six cable for sound. If the TV doesn't have one you can always just listen w the computers speakers or Bluetooth speakers.

It serves a purpose and gets the job done. It's a bit short, but I make it work. Good image quality and response. Plug and play and you're good to go.

I had a 2015 MacBook Air 11-inch that I wanted to output video to a 1080p monitor. This simple adapter worked with an HDMI cord to do the job. It also worked with routing audio to the monitor.

It did its job but the image is still as good if you just used a HDMI cord. So don't buy if u already have a HDMI plug.

You need the right cables when trying to make all things work correctly. This connector allowed for a clean Mac to HD TV installation!

I have had three off brand versions of this product, but purchased an Insignia one recently due to availability. They always seem to stop working after a year or 2 of use. We will see how long the Insignia one lasts. I use it to connect my MacBook pro to my 2 Insignia tvs.

Good build quality, which is especially comforting because there were really no competing products (In the price range) it's nice to know insignia doesn't cut corners even when they could get away with it.

It does work but it gets flaky on an older Surface Book vs a newer Surface Book. I went with a Belkin with 4K support and it works fine with both laptops. I would recommend this for newer laptops.

I bought one of this things apple brand at the apple store and this one was half the price and works better.

The TV is in one room, the computer and hard drive is in another. I needed this to connect a 20 foot HDMI cable to the big screen and it worked fine. No degradation in picture quality at all.

This cable has saved me trips to red box since I can watch movies from my computer and now directly to the tv via this cable. Great quality and I can also get sound and video with just this cable.. Sweet.

I had a cheaper HD Port to HDMI adapter that I was using. It quit working in no time. I got this one for Christmas and have had no problems with it. I use it to connect my Mac Book to the tv. It's great.
