I had a great experience going into best buy to get this product. I didn't know exactly what I was going to get but, after describing it the associate was very helpful!

We got this so my husband could connect his computer to a 48" TV to use as a monitor (poor eyesight) and It works perfectly. Unlike connecting through Airplay, the TV is truly just a monitor.

This is exactly the part that I needed to get my dvd player to "talk" to my projector. My help at the store was knowledgeable and quick to recommend this to me

If you want to hook your Mac up to a TV to watch movies, just combine this with an hdmi cable and you are good to go. Works for picture and sound. No need for a smart tv with this product.

I bought this in order to share my screen for presentations to clients on a HDTV monitor. The colors and sounds are very crips and allow a true playback from my MacBook Air on to my TV.

The original Apple HDMI adapter is so much more expensive. I'm SO glad I found out Best Buy sold this through Insignia. No problems whatsoever; it works great & has a sturdy build.

At a price point $40 less then the name brand adapters our there (Microsoft/Apple), the Insignia Mini DisplayPort-to-HDMI Adapter gets the job done. Loses one star for value - could have saved another $10 by choosing Best Buy's Dynex brand at $9.99

Adapter works just as described. I am using it from a Surface dock to connect a monitor via HDMI. No connectivity issues at all from the adapter.

This is a HDMI adapter for surface pro 3. Works just fine but does not transmit audio like I was told it would. I might have to change a setting on my surface to allow that but not sure. Either way not a big deal, as its mainly for the video not so much for the audio

Purchased this adapter for my class and was a life saver not just for me but for fellow students. Excellent connection to HDMI from MacBook Pro. Display and audio were very clear.

Not only does it work fine, but the sales person was very helpful--something you don't find ordering online.

All I can say is that it works for standard 1080p from a MacBook Air to TV or dedicated computer monitor, audio and video both work from a thunderbolt 2 port.

Good Little Gadget for the price. Just $18 . But it was hard to find in the store. I thought it would be with the Apple products but t was with the cable connector section of the store.

this adapter was easy to attach to my computer and it does not fall out like others I have used.

This plugged right into the thunderbolt port and into an hdmi and gave me a perfect picture with sound with was key. Some adapters only transfer video, not audio but this did them both.

I bought this conversion adapter because my Mac Air (being thin by design) does not accommodate a standard HDMI female port. The adapter works great, just a shame that I need it.

I bought this a little bit on the fence since its an off-brand item. So far works as good as a name brand adapter double the price.

Works great, a longer cord would be great though. As easy as we thought to use. Good product

I have one of these for each of my computers to be able to go into dual screen mode with the laptop. It is also great for streaming content from my laptop to TV.
