The adapter does as advertised. Do occasionally need to disconnect from monitor and reconnect when screen goes black.

However, I did knock off one star for the price. You can find similar connectors for waaaay cheaper. I bought this as an emergency solution for a scheduled mixing session.

Just what it says it does!

Video is coming out of from the mini display port of my laptop to the Dell monitor and it could never been easier! Adapter is doing the job perfectly so far. No issues whatsoever.
