We needed this item for connecting a Mac book pro to a lg flat screen tv via a HDMI cable. We used it for 6 days straight and did not have any connection problems.

This is a cable to do one thing and it does it. So I guess it gets five stars..... I could give it four stars because white gets dirty but that isn't right.

works great. I used this to replace an old that would only output 1080i video and no audio. As soon as I swapped it with this one, everything "just worked".

This is a a fantastic conversion chord. I have a dell screen and a Mac book. I love the dual screening that this chord provides.

Works just like the standard HDMI port. My laptop canme with one HDMI and a thunderbolt port. This adapter allowed me to drive 2 24" monitors.

I visited Best Buy to try to find an adapter to go from my Surface Pro 3 to an HDMI cable so I could play movies on Hotel flat screens. After wandering all around Best Buy I finally asked in a very loud voice can SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!. I was met immediately by a staff member who took me around to all the places I had already visited. Finally another more senior staff member suggested what I was looking for was actually a Mini DisplayPort-to-HDMI Adapter. Guess what... we had to go to the Apple section to find it. It works well and I am satisfied.

For people who need an hdmi port on their 2012 MacBooks here's your answer, this adapter brings us a much needed hdmi port to our laptops.

Purchased this to connect our IMac to out tv so that we could watch Netflex.. It is serving it's purpose for us. It would not be a bad thing if it was just a bit longer then again short is probably the best. Regardless it Worked for us....

If your mac has the lighting cable port and it can project sound this will do the trick . However. I have a large tv and some of the screen on the edge got caught off from the mac to the tv but overall great product
